As Misaki slowly comes down into the basement, she sees Pain sitting there quietly in a chair. "Pain, what are you doing down here?" she asks while making a yellow light orb in her right hand so she can see better in the dark basement.

Pain: nothing.....

She slowly walks over. "Are you okay?"

 

[Makoto Yuki]

Pain: -draws his blade- dont come near me...

 

[shycatgirl00]

"Why not?" Misaki stops walking and just stares at him.

 

[Makoto Yuki]

Pain: im waiting.....

 

[shycatgirl00]

"Waiting for what?"

 

[Makoto Yuki]

Pain: -sigh- does it matter?....

 

[shycatgirl00]

She nods. "Since you're waiting in my basement, it kind of does matter."

 

[Makoto Yuki]

Pain: im waiting for your friend...

 

[shycatgirl00]

"You mean Jack?"

 

[Makoto Yuki]

Pain:...some signed a contract...

 

[shycatgirl00]

"I thought he said he didn't want to make the contract anymore." The light orb floats up to the ceiling and brightens so that the entire basement is lit up now.

Jack walks into the kitchen and gets out a piece of ice.

 

[Makoto Yuki]

Pain: jack didnt sign the contract....someone else did....

Ryun: -appears next to misaki- i did....

Pain: ...

Misaki spins around and looks up at Ryun. "Eh? Who are you?"
