When Misaki gets to the lake, she starts chipping the ice until she can see the ice cold water that's underneath. "I've done this before....maybe it'll work again..." she whispers as her hands hover over the water. Misaki mumbles something and for a brief moment the water starts to glow an aquamarine color then stops. She looks into the water but it is completely black, she couldn't even see her own reflection. "Uh-Oh...."

"Dun dun dun dun."
Jack jumps beside Pain.
"Dun dun dun dun dun."

 

[Makoto Yuki]

Pain: -grips his fist- ...

Jack looks up at Pain.
"You look mad."

Misaki stands up and the water becomes clear again. "I should go tell Opi...."

Pain: arnt you the smart one....

Jack smiles widely.
"Yup. I be smart!"

Pain: i should hit you....

Misaki walks away from the lake, calling Opi.

"Why you be mean to little ol' Jack?"

Pain: because i never was a fan of winter...

She leans on her Kirby ice sculpture and sighs. "Where did she run off to?"

Jack looks up at Pain like he was a mad man that just escaped prison.
"Why don't you like Winter?!"

Misaki mutters to herself as she climbs a tree and sits on the highest branch. On the way up, she scrapes her arms and legs a bit from the ice but she ignores the minor wounds.

Pain: because...its a stupid season...

As her feet dangle off the side, Misaki looks off into the horizon thinking intently.

Jack looks straight into Pain's eyes and punches him.
"Winter is awesome!"

Pain: -grabs his arm twisting it around and forces him to the ground- dont try that again...
