Exactly you said writes. He doesn't write on paper any more but neither does Jay, etc... The thing is a freestyle is off the top. He walks around and recites the song in his head and rerecords it's several times on occasions which is no a "Freestyle"

Freestyle is probably an exaggeration but it is still a bit more spontaneous than something written down. Even in a freestyle, Lupe would have more content, but the sheer volume of metaphors (which admittedly can be hit and miss) isn't something anyone else could do as well.

True, but I guess you have to take it for what it is. I rather hear someone stumble and flip it and come back later with a killer line than practicing for that perfect group of bars though I do enough both cause I love music in general.

I get what you mean, but I don't want to get into the part about career success cause my belief of why Lu gets so high then magically stops because of "the I word that shouldn't be spoken" lol
