When oda introduced luffy's g2, he even showed us the g3 Nearly around 2-3 manga after that. What if he introduce us with g5 after 2-3 manga of g4. Then I'm pretty sure NB will be again overflow with threads all over again.

I reckon his powerups will be:
G4
Greater Haki through progression
Hasshoken

Four extra gears is too many, I doubt there will be a G5

Past G4 is probaly too much, he'll probaly combine G2,G3 and G4 with combinations later on, then the 3 at same time

Aside from gear 4 (complete mastery), I'll add CoC. Maybe island scale?
