[Discussion] Luffy's moveset becoming less diverse?

Right now Luffy only uses Gomu Gomu no Pistol, Bullet, Gatling, and Rifle.

In the past some other moves he used were:

Gomu Gomu no Shotgun
Gomu Gomu no Storm
Gomu Gomu no Net
Gomu Gomu no Spear
Gomu Gomu no Cannon
Gomu Gomu no Bazooka
Gomu Gomu no Rocket
Gomu Gomu no Bow Gun
Gomu Gomu no Shield
Gomu Gomu no Tsuchi
Gomu Gomu no Muchi
And quite a bit more

The only new move he invented that werent just G2 or G3 variations of his already existing moves was Gomu Gomu no Snake Shot. What happened?

Forgot that he used Bazooka in FI and invented UFO. But he still ditched a lot of moves, not to mention that list I made only covers like half of his abandoned moves.

You gotta realize that some of them are replaced with other moves or with haki now.

Why not just use Haki on Shotgun or Storm? Shotgun was an improved Pistol so if anything Pistol should have been replaced by that. Storm was Luffy using Fuusen, twisting his body, blowing out the air and getting launched up, and then using Gatling. So that was way stronger than Gatling, it even knocked out Croc. And then there are attacks that didnt have a replacement like Net or Tsuchi.

Well he's getting stronger and better with his powers so he's not throwing random shit around as much. To be honest I'd rather see thor elephant gun than gomo gomo no Muchi idk about you...

Also, whats the point behind Grizzly Magnum? Why not just call it Elephant Bazooka like he does with Elephant Gun and Elephant Gatling.

All luffy's moves are named after weapons. Hawk Rifle is a real rifle that shoots fire after the bullet. I assume luffy named it after a gun that did what Grizzly Magnum does.
