He doesn't need more forms boundman was fast he needs to improve his base power level. I don't want this to go narutoesque with a lot of different forms.

I've seen a lot of fanfic drawings like this before but one thing I never understood is its lack of G4 aspect. It has the tribal tattoos but it just looks like he's in Base or G2.

He still needs to be in G4 in some way when he's using this form.

Maybe he goes in G4 then deflates his body and muscles to an extent but not so much that he looks like he's in G2 when he uses it.

Ever since Luffy got Gear 2 and 3, he hasn't defeated any major villains in base. It's been like this for years now. It makes sense that he'd have a Defense, Speed, and Power form.

I'm not asking for him to beat higher tier ppl in base but he should improve his haki and that would dramatically improve his other forms. Like how after timeskip his base strength was much higher which made his gears improve, imo just adding many forms would start getting boring. Or get G4 time limit to be much higher or come up with more clever techs or different ways to fight I don't want standard forms as a way of him improving but that's just my personal opinion.
