[Spoilers] luffy's 4 gear

I think I finally know what gear 4 will be like.
Luffy will surely use whole body armament haki and combine it with his gear second which usually accumulates steam on whole body which will make his whole body of fire just like fire hawk. Bit the difference is fire hawk only makes his hand made of fire, in gear 4 it will be his whole body. Luffy will become somewhat like heatblast of ben10 or fireman(pyro) of x-men. I think this is the only power up now oda can give to luffy.

Drawbacks: like we all know now that gear four will definitely beat mingo. So y luffy didn't he use it from start.
Just like at the start of every new gear luffy suffers from its side affects in gear four it will b same. After becoming his whole body of fire it will make his body burn(or leaves some burn marks on his body which will be healed by chopper later) because he is rubber man so there will be limit of this new powerup.

Haki is usable for anyone. Gears are Luffy's exploitations of the advantages he has with a rubber body, NO HAKI is required for it to be a gear

actually theres multiple people that can use gear 2 if they really tried. like the gooey logia user guy can probably do it and maybe teh sicky executive guy as well. they can speed up their blood flow without it effecting them badly. infact probably any gas logia can do it to but itd be kinda different.

No. Gear 2nd is Luffy's technique and it's a shortcut to using Soru by pumping blood at a much higher rate which is only possible because of Luffy's elasticated blood vessels. A Logia still has normal blood vessels. I won't get into the details, but lets just say that if anyone else could do it their blood vessels would burst open and they would die.

A logia still has internal organs like normal humans as seen when Ace was killed by Sakazuki.

The latter is not necessarily true. Gear 2nd and Gear 3rd are indeed 'Gears' because they are supportive techs unique to a rubberman. However the fact is that Gear 4th has been introduced post-time skip, so if the same standard to qualify something as a gear is applied, he could have gotten Gear 4th pre-time skip. What defines the difference the most between pre- and post-time skip Luffy, is his skill in using Haki.

So combining those two together IMO Gear 4th would be something that only can be done by a rubberman, however the usage of Haki is mandatory as otherwise it couldn't be done even if you're a rubberman. As said before I personally would find it quite contradictory for Luffy's Gear 4th to be something he could have done pre-time skip.

I don't think you understand the specific mechanics of Gear 2nd as you just used as examples the people who would be the worst at trying to preform Gear 2nd.

If you want to see it differently, their powers have the same effect as Armament Haki and Seastone due to a hierarchal relationship between the Devil Fruits. However that doesn't take away that everything in Ace's body was fire and everything in Enel's body was lightning. After all that's the reason as why Logia DF are so powerful, their bodies are intangible.

No I think it would affect doffy bcoz when luffy punches him normally or gattling or a with any other attack, doffy either easily blocks them or withstand it but if luffy punches him with constant fire hawks or any other with my g4 then I think it will hurt mingo more than before. And putting whole body on fire and using conqueror haki simultaneously may increase strength of him maybe.

Unless you have elasticated blood vessels that can withstand the blood pressure of Gear Second you can never hope to use it. Unless you have elasticated bones then your bones will simply break because they're brittle... neither gear is accessible to anyone exept Luffy

When I read that "anyone can use gear two", and thus gear four... I immediately thought they sorta can... It won't be exactly alike gear 2, but gear 2 was based off of soru, and those who train their speed and armament haki should be able to do this...

With that said, I think it is safe to assume that gear four will not be this. lol

You haven't said anything no here hasn't already said before. And like I have been saying for the past couple of days, why in the world would simply combining G2 and FBH be considered a new gear? All of the gears don't and will not rely on another Gear. Luffy turning human torch would only be an upgrade of G2 but not enough to be called G4.

It was clearly explained that the reason as why Ace got damaged, was because lava is superior to fire. Akainu said that himself. I don't even understand how you could possibly debate about this as Ace got slashed in half and pierced by countless of bullets. And what happened with his organs? They regenerated. Why? Because they're fire.

That's the entire point of logia DF: the user's body transforms completely into the element of the DF. Ace at the Mera Mera no Mi, so he completely became fire. When he gets 'wounded', it simply regenerates as fire is intangible. The only thing that can hurt Logia users are: Haki, seastone and natural weaknesses. Again clearly explained in the manga and it's the latter that applies to Ace's death as lave hurts fire. Same with Luffy and Enel. Everything went through Enel without a problem, but Luffy can hit him like he was completely solid. Why? Because rubber > lightning.

It doesn't even make sense what you say as they clearly regenerate completely and then you say they have normal organs...if that was the case, all Logia users should have died by now as their organs have been shot, cut, blown up and whatnot.

What isn't a discussion is the fact you've clearly completely misunderstood my original point. I said that to withstand the blood pressure your Cardio Vascular System needs elasticity otherwise you'd die from internal bleeding. Elasticity is only granted by the Gomu Gomu no Mi. There is only one Gomu Gomu no Mi. A Logia is still a human with normal internal organs as proven when Ace died of organ damage - it doesn't matter how he was damaged the fact is his organs were damaged and burnt, and just like any normal person (including Whitebeard) succumbed to this (as did Whitebeard). Regenerative powers are a feature of the Logia devil fruits, that doesn't mean their organs themselves are abnormal. Put them in Kairouseki cuffs and see what happens to them. Only a select few devil fruits remain active when in cuffs, these are the Paramecias that permanently affect the body. Henceforth we can conclude three things from this:
Luffy is the only user of the Gomu Gomu no Mi (duh)
Logias have regular internal organs (duh), meaning that Luffy IS the only possible user of any "Gear" ever.

We've got no idea what Gear Fourth will be. It could seriously be anything, so long as it's more powerful than Gear Third - it'll be strong enough to take out Doflamingo, too, which is saying a lot about its power. We'll really just have to wait - but I don't think your prediction is right. That just sounds like a haki-enhanced Gear Second, probably not even more powerful than Gear Third. It'll be much stronger than that.

I never said anything about the medic and I don't really get why you are trying to say there.

And logia's are almost permanently in their elemental state. It's a bit of disputed matter, but I think Oda confirmed that if they are truly caught of guard, they can't transform properly, but in reality that has almost never happened. When Ace tried to make a strawhat for Oars, he burned it twice because he is made out of fire. When Enel and especially Kizaru got attacked, the first barely changed visually and the latter not at all.

Even if you assume that logia's can toggle off their elemental state on and off as they see fit, that doesn't take away that in that elemental state they are completely their element, organs and all. And as said they are pretty much always in that state.

I never denied all that stuff about needing elasticity to preform Gear 2nd, that was clearly explained in the manga, and I never said anything about it. I merely pointed out that your statement of logia's having normal organs is wrong as their organs are made out of their elements and can regenerate themselves. That are not normal organs. It wouldn't allow them to preform Gear 2nd, but it are still not normal organs and the reason as why Ace's organs, as said before, got damaged so heavily, was because lava > fire. Clearly stated in the series by Akainu when several characters even pointed out how it was possible that someone who is completely fire, gets burned. Despite Ace's organs being fire, they got burned because it doesn't matter whether they would have been fire or regular as the result would have been exactly the same. That's the reason why his organs got burned, not because they were normal. It's the same principle of how Luffy was able to hit Enel like he had a regular physical body. Enel's organs were very much lightning, but Luffy was able to hit him because his rubber cancelled out his lightning because rubber > lightning.

This is very well different of what you say. If Akainu would have used a gun, Ace would have been unharmed. Ace's organs got burned because lava burns even fire and not because he had regular organs.

G4 Luffy is obviously going to look very similar if not the same as nightmare Luffy.(maybe not blue though)

Notice how 478 is a rearranged 784. G4 IS Nightmare Luffy with maybe normal skin and may be a little smaller.
