[Discussion] Luffy will be the One

Blackbeard has two DF now :-

• Yami Yami no Mi
• Gura Gura no Mi

Out of which Yami Yami no Mi is able to absorb/nullify the other DF making the users unable to use the power of the DF as we have seen in Impel down arc here :-

Now lets turn your attention to the small hints which will help you understand why I am saying that Luffy would be the one who will be defeating BB and also the one who will eat Ace's DF.

• First point is during the fight BB himself said " Who will win Flaming light or darkness ?? " check it here :-

• Second point as stated by WB that there will be some one who will appear who carries Ace's will and history on his back will be the one to who will become king of pirates and defeat the WG in a war.

• Third point being that BB's body is said to be made differently because of which he was able to handle two DF which is impossible for normal Humans.

• Fourth Point is that Luffy is the one who recovered from the Death in the impel down shows how much will power he has

As well all know now Oda does gives subtle hints which may or may not be big ones but which sure helps to connect to the upcoming future events such as Dragon saving Luffy in Logue town; then the Poneglyph's; Luffy-Shanks-Rayleigh; then we have lola-Big mam connection; Luffy and ace vivre card; ace chasing BB and some more. You can see some here which points to Strawhats V/s BB pirates.

So my Point here is that at some point in near future Luffy will be forced to eat or he will willing eat Ace's DF and it will boost Luffy's ability to defeat BB in the end because one DF would be needed to Nullify the Yami Yami no DF and other will be helpful fighting along with his haki.

I don't know if the this thread had been made here before but had this thing in mind for couple of days so decided to make this thread in the end. Thanks for taking your time in reading this and looking forward for your views on this one.

I am far from supporting the idea of Luffy eating the Mera Mera no Mi, but I can't deny that you're giving us good points. Another point to support this theory is Luffy's immunity against poison; if his body is set on fire, it will most likely create some kind of toxic gas.

D: In the ONE PIECE of these days, all kinds of strong ability users whom even Luffy can't compete with have been appearing, one after the other. In general manga and anime, I feel that the protagonist is established to be the strongest of all, but why did you decide to turn Luffy into a pretty weak-looking rubber Devil Fruit user? P.N. O: Ahaha, that is true. It must seem like a mystery when you consider all the other strong and cool abilities. The answer is simple. I have picked the most ridiculous ability. If the protagonist were the typical strong guy, I doubt I could continue on with this for long. No matter how serious the story gets, Luffy is there to stretch and inflate. He always give me a chance to fool around. That's the kind of manga I wanted to write.

Luffy should kick BB's ass with only 1 devil fruit.

I couldnt see the images but judging from your points I can agree.
And the point of him learning red Hawk can be seen as foreshadowing of luffy getting Ace's power in the future, which Oda is good at. Hes done it many times in the manga.

Theres still a lot we dont know, about those with D in their name or of the existence of devil fruit. Perhaps they have something to do with the void century.

Good points , however Blackbeard absorbed WB's fruit power (i think), not because of his body composition ; that simply makes him a tank.
it is impossible for Luffy (or anyone else) to literally eat a second devil fruit , wouldn't BB just eat the Gura Gura no Mi on a nearby fruit tree? nope.

well I must agree with volume 65, that made me sad when I 1st heard it but I guess that might be true since Oda was asked that Sabo is dead or alive he didn't answer straight... I guess that might be true too
