I think Law is too smart and tricky for Luffy. Luffy's speed might be a problem. I think the chances are 50%-50% for those two. Law could beat Luffy by getting his heart, using a smart plan. It depends if Luffy is smart enough and fast enough to avoid Law and be able to attack at the same time.


Actually no. He is not as stupid as he is in everyday situations but not by any chance can he be categorized as smart. In most of his fights, he gets caught up to the same techniques and uses the same (failed) methods until he realizes he needs to do something else. His good stamina and the fact that he can take a lot of damage is what saves him from being seriously wounded. With Enel he had a natural advantage. Look at his fights with Caesar, he got caught up to the same thing more than twice. About his gears, it only natural to understand his own body and ability better than anyone else, I don't see why he has to be genius to develop that.

Luffy has more drive than law, even Zoro has more drive than law. I can't see luffy or even Zoro running from doflammingo the way law did... Which makes me believe law is into self preservation and running to stay alive whilst that's the last thing on luffys mind. In an all out battle luffy will win.

Well Luffy will struggle for a majority of the fight cause he doesn't know to much about Law's DF. However, I think Luffy will pull through.

I don't know why people assume that Luffy would lose because he isn't as smart as Law...Every major opponent Luffy has battled with is smarter than him however he's always found a way to get around that, I really think people are underestimating Luffy far to much the same way everyone did with Garp.

Luffy wins beats both Law and Zoro High diff.

Luffy posseses an IQ of a monkey when he is not fightning but when its time to get serious he catches up quickly and can use appropriate means to win.Its like with Naruto,dumbass on the outside but smart when it counts.The fight would end with Luffy being victorious but probably near death

Luffy would most likely lose to Law the first time he fights him. After that, Luffy probably wins more times than not. Luffy beats Law/Zoro extreme difficulty.

Luffy just bested a legend in terms of strength and haki, so we all know that luffy>>>law in both those aspects.

The only difficult part about law is his devil fruit and how he uses his tactics/plans

Given luffy's unpredictable personality, prep time would be in vein.
