[Spoilers] Luffy vs. Dolphy end results

Damn son that was a great episode I can't believe how strong luffy AND dolflamingo were! That shock wave from their attacks was cazy. But when luffy sent dolflamingo to the ground, crashing the land around him, plot literally saved the citizens cause I don't recall any of them dying in the manga either Lol. But when Luffy turns gear 4 he gets those patterns on his body that i guess resemble the devil fruit pattern of the one he ate? All I know him turning gear 4 this time was way more badass than the first. Great animation and i loved the talknwith Rayleighbcause we see that he hasnt even shown his strongest technique yet.

I liked the episode but once again they made Luffy look weaker in the anime
When the final attacks connected it looked like this struggle again same as with Ceasar whereas in the manga he just instantly flattened him

Yeah orolly cause tin the anime they can make it more dramatic than drawings so they do stuff like that, idk man I can't wait for upcoming arc to be animated

Only good part was the actual attack. Everything leading to it in this episode was just eh imo.

Plus, wasn't really a fan of the recycled animation when he enters gear 4th but heh, I guess I can let it pass because it looked good.

I find it funny how when Rayleigh says G4 takes 2 much toll on the body Luffy decides to do something even worse
But this makes me wonder if Luffy really has something else up his sleeve that's not gear 4 but just as powerfull but without consequences

Dawg you saw how he was laughing at Rayleigh, it was the pirate king laugh, he may die by the end of the series but he is gonna at least reach super saiyan 1 level powers.

The fight was done much better in the manga toei always hanker to stretch out episodes by adding their shitty fodder reactions to what is going on and basically prolonging scenes we've already seen it rubs me the wrong way that's why i barely watch it

The manga was so much better. But I prefer reading page by page. It was a good fight all in all gear 4 was badass. I feel like he used the bounce bounce gear 4 in this fight because Doflamingo could practically fly and was quicker then him. So he made himself fly like a balloon. I dont like the plot amour and Doflamingo should of won but the thes all mainstream anime i give it a 3/5

I liked the animation cause it shows off how pissed Luffy looked and it shows off how great of a villain Dolflamingo was, with his evil rants and when he went crashing down into that crater i likes the music in that scene kinda made bit dramatic but that's the point of anime

Remember Rayleigh left luffy to train by himself after learning the basics, so that makes you wonder what he learned without Rayleigh, there is definitly something he is holding back on

I dont even care about the pacing so much as the final punch. It was just plain dumb. Like they emphasized the wrong thing. They dragged out the conflict and in like 2 seconds the ground was was flying into the air. They spent 0 time showing doffy get hit by it. The manga made a large panel with doffys face being smashed. They shoulda spent a bit longer on that and longer showing the ground break.

It was nice. I was just happy the art and animation looked superb, only issue was the ground breaking, that should have happened in an instant and panned out to show everything. The impact of the ground breaking was lost but the clash and the punch itself was solid.

It was better than the initial kong gun episode.

I reckon he might be subordinate of jimbei's in the final war which luffy will declare against the goresei and marines.
