Zoro is strongest physically. He also have best defense as his arnament haki is supposed to be the strongest.[oda said this]

Upper body strength 1) Zoro 2) Luffy 3) Sanji
Lower body strength 1) Sanji 2) Luffy 3) Zoro

So Luffy is the most balanced of the three and therefore 'the strongest' while the other two have their specialties.

Zoro is strongest physically. He also have best defense as his arnament haki is supposed to be the strongest.[oda said this]

If you want to quote Oda, then do it right. He said that between Zoro Luffy and Sanji that Zoro had more of a talent for CoA and Sanji for CoO and Luffy for CoC. Oda never put a qualification on them as 'the strongest' because that will probably be Luffy.

Seriously? Sanji is by far the strongest physically. Did you ever go to the gym? Your legs are so much more capable than your arms, because you use them all the time.

What Sanji can do with his legs none of the others can do with either legs or arms. Perhaps Luffy can with gears, but as they aren't involved. And put arma haki on top of that.

these were basically shown side by side. But yea, um Luffy could be physically stronger than Zoro.

How is that even remotely the same ? In the first picture we see Luffy pressing 2 buildings apart with his arms pressed against his body. In the second we're seeing Zoro CUTTING a chimney.

A better comparison would be Luffy in this picture, Zoro in alabasta and Sanji in Thriller bark kicking a tower (Jenga Ho). But honestly lifting buildings isn't that special anymore. Burgess also did it and Luffy did it again in a movie.

They're all way past the building lifting thing, so there is no use comparing.

1.Theyre both in awkward positions that require immense strength to get out of. These feats are strictly strength feats.

2.They are during the same time period, thus easy to compare. Oda had these feats back to back for a reason.

Depends how you define strongest...
Based upon that you could say all three depending on your perception of the question.

Luffy = Strongest fighter
Zoro = All round most muscular strength
Sanji = Specified muscular strength (legs)

1. Luffy
2. Zoro
3. Sanji

Sanji's physical strength lies in his lower body though so if we take that into account he'd be equal to or possibly above Zoro.

What i don't understand is how people are forgetting alll of Luffy's immense strength feats yet keep remembering Zoro's building toss. Current M3 could toss buildins 3 times bigger than the one Zoro did. Luffy pushed a city block apart and tossed a hill for god's sake.

Overall Zoro is probably stronger. Obviously Sanji is the strongest in lower body strength.

Whether its upper body or lower body, Zoro is stronger. Difference is how he uses his lowerbody.

Can't carry a building with just upper strength. Upper body simply provides the hold or the base the building stays in. Lower body does the carrying.

Just like Rayleigh, he swimmed the whole ocean.. people would assume he only has upper-body strength.. but in reality he also has lower body strength, but simply doesn't use it in kicks. Instead uses it in a different way.
