Tbh, i don't think Luffy cares about having only 10 crew members anymore. I think he might accept more than 10 now. Again this is only a prediction U_U

Everyone keeps nominating potential characters from time to time, well in the current two arcs there has been many speculation who would join imo. I'm not against all possibilities but just saying everyone believes since "Luffy said only 10 crew members" doesn't mean he has to abide that forever Lol.

Think about it, how many times do you say you will do something then later on you change your mind? Hmm, a lot you say? EXACTLY!! :p
That was just an amatuer thought to himself before ACTUALLY entering the world as a pirate. I reckon he'll change his mind because as much as he would need allies to survive in the New World he definitely needs more than 10 member pirate crew to take out an emperor for instance.

:yeah:, but everyone believes that since he said " at least ten" or "looking for ten" whatever the case. Everyone believes he only wants that amount of members, not a single member above. IMO, its kinda ridiculous/laughable to think like that XD

It's not Luffy that wants ten, it's Oda who wants to have 10/11 protagonists. Why? Think about it. If it exceed that much, just how long will the chapters be? Just how much time will he waste drawing lots of all these main characters in comparison to his story progression? These questions need to be considered 'cause every second chapter he'll need to focus on them. E.G. Look at the earlier Dressrosa chapters when the SH's left the ship; see how messy some of them were? It's because there were so many people to focus on.
Moreover, the story line won't progress as fast due to the amount of people he needs to detail.

Also, those chapters which will revolve around the SH's as a whole (such as the end of arc chapters) will be a drainer for him. Hence having 10/11 people in the SH's makes sense since it won't take as much effort as it would if there were 15.

i think oda would stick with 10.
otherwise he has 2 draw 2 much.
has 2 give a better storyline for each character.
has 2 do character development for them.
nah oda would only use 10SH crew.

yep We won't have 26 strawhats. lol. .but i think he can be a main ally to SH in final war and i dont see him as a nakama.now we have 9 different letters.L,Z,S,N,U,B,C,R,F.so next nakamas name start with a different letter or .............

He wasn't saying a member per letter he was saying each member will have a different letter.

All the people, people hope will join will most likely be allies. Jinbei said he would join but I see it more likely he will ally the fishmen pirates(as he's really the only one to take control now that Hody's gone) with the SH's like Law and the Heart Pirates did. Vivi will ally Alabasta with them so when they take on the WG they have a nation base to fight from. Hancock will ally Amazon Lily with them, another land base and pirate fleet. I feel we'll see a 2nd WG/Ancient kingdom scenario so to speak with a couple countries siding with Luffy and them against the WG. I also think the 10 members topic, Luffy meant core members like how Whitebeard had his admirals(or whatever he called them) granted I doubt luffy will let them leave his ship to manage a fleet but I think it will be sort of like that(Zoro/Sanji/Usopp etc = Marco/Ace/Juzo etc.)

I believe the Strawhats will claim Dressrosa and Fishman Island as their territories once the M3 are low admiral tier. Wano (anti WG) may also Ally and possibly even submit to the Strawhats. An incredibly strong ally indeed.

Indeed. I think that the Strawhats will have some subordinates. But only 10 or so per member (they will not be named and only seen EOS after a very sudden 10 or so year time skip after the global war. Just before the ending of the series). These subordinates will be similar to their PRE TS leaders strengths (except Jinbe).

The regiments would go like this:
1st commander Zoro : Combatant subordinates
2nd commander Sanji : Martial artist subordinates
3rd commander Usopp : Sniper and Smithy subordinates
4th commander Nami : Navigation regiment
5th commander Chopper : Medical unit
6th commander Robin : Assassins and scientist unit (to support Medical Unit and Navigation regiment)
7th commander Franky : Shipwrights and assistant Smithy's
8th commander Brook : Entertainers
9th commander Violet : Intel corps
10th commander Jinbe : Fishman division
11th commander Bonboy : Okama division (for the LOL's)
