Luffy

Dude is infront of an admiral(Aokiji) and really think he could win. The option of losing seemed to disappear out of his mind despite knowing people like Shanks, Ace, Garp and co who are vastly stronger than him, despite seeing the difference in power. Even Shabondy Archipelo Kid who is foolish enough to accomplish the most stupid things knew his place when it came down to face an admiral. Luffy however never seemed to care, attacking like a retard he is. Now after 2 years of training, he keeps thinking he could kick everyone's ass, including all yonkous. What a retard Lol

Zoro

In east blue, dude actually(and firmly) thought he could defeat one of the strongest person in the one piece world(Mihawk) on his first try, seeking out to fight him with total confidence he'd win. Well now that we see the astronomical number of stronger people that were situated between him and his goal, i feel he was so out-of-touch concerning the world that it's not even funny. What was he even thinking? That he was the god of the one piece world of something? That no one could beat him? Dude was not even understanding how the world can defeat him. He really went full retard

Reality-check is really important i feel :eww:

I feel like Luffy knew he was going to lose against Kuzan, but himself over the crew. Because he's tenacious and wasn't used to Logias, it appeared like he thought he'd win.
Nah Luffy really thought he could win. Even when Aokiji wasn't even trying to fight them, he was going full retard trying to engage him in battle

Luffy engaged him in battle because he had to buy his friends time to run away. Why do you think he challenged him to a one on one duel? Kuzan commented that Luffy did purposefully so his friends would be spared.

Yeah they are pretty stupid and I think the point is to show how courage confidence can take you places and let you accomplish things that other people say you can't but they just come off as too stupid and they should have SOME kind of understanding of how much stronger some of these people are.

No i meant before that. When Kuzan was sleeping and telling them that he doesn't want to cause them any harm, Luffy like a retard was still trying to engage him in battle, telling him to stop sleeping infront of them and that he would send him flying or other stupid things like that

Yes it is but again where Luffy and Zoro would be if they didn't act as idiots sometimes. Or better question is would Luffy have a crew if he had that reality-check.

Luffy: It would have been retarded if luffy had not tried actually. Because he would never have guessed the gap without fighting him. If you just give up when you see an admiral then you are retarded. And if you think you can run away from an admiral then you are even more retarded. Like the great captain Jack Sparrow said,
"Fight, to run away!"
Zoro: He was in the weakest sea, the east blue. It would have been idiotic if he had known the gap. Like Mihawk said,
"Know the true world and get stronger, Roronoa zoro!"

To be fair for Zoro, even if he did nearly die IIRC he didn't want to pass up the chance of dueling with the strongest swordsman ever which is Zoro's initial dream. But in the end yeah, they were stupid.

Ace isn't vastly stronger than Luffy. I'd honestly say Luffy>Ace

Ace is vastly stronger than pre TS Luffy.

Going by what he said to Enel, I wld say Luffy knows there r pple stronger out there on the sea but well when u meet them cowering away and quivering in your boots when u meet them wont help u so seeing as u live in the moment you just gotta give it yo all if need b n if u die then well its in the moment too. A reality check was needed though and i think that's why Oda gave us Grove 12. That was a slap to the face waking everyone to that the sea is not to b taken lightly thinking u will go on your merry way singing songs along the way as though its a musical, its the grand adventure for a reason n danger is the aspect theme of it.

As for Zoro well. if he hadn't tried then he wld never have realized the actual gap and well knowing is half the battle so as idiotic as it was him being oblivious of the gap wld b a far more sinister idiotic act.

There is however no refuting it, they r retards at the end of the day. '3 parts fool 1 part brave' maybe a qoute from the Inheritance cycle but almost every prontagonist in these kinds of stories is restarted to some extent so its kinda universal.

You guys forgot what Zeff had told Sanji U_U

"Sometimes you're bound to meet a fool that once he set his target on an enemy, he'll fight to death."

Knowing something and deciding something are two different matters.
