[Theory] Lucci won't be anything big in the future

Oda said in an SBS that Luffy doesn't kill people because he just defeats them which in OP-verse is much more painful than death because Luffy (the underdog) defies their purpose and takes away what they have worked so hard for. Hence why Lucci should if anything be mid-trio level because his "dark justice" was defeated by a pirate along with his ideals.
So for those who think Robbing the light will will come back. He'll only return in the "Promised War" as an ally to Mugi. But even that is hard to believe.

Yeah I wouldn't imagine him being a huge gigantic deal.

I expects with the war he'll return or at least in some fashion before it.

Lucci represents Justice against evil and as such I csn see him working with Luffy...especially since in the Cover Titles he was seen fighting marines if I remember right. Luffy hasn't really ever gone completely illegal except for Ennid Lobby and Marineford and that was to save those precious to him.....I'm betting after his reality check defeat he could easily show up as Luffy's ally

to be honest i would not even want to see him back...
even though he was a cool guy, luffy is just way to strong
there fight would be pointless...if he does show up it will be for a brief second who knows he might want to befriend luffy
that stuff usually happens in anime

Remember, a return does not necessarily mean a fight. For all we know, he might have information about the government and all. Plus, I can actually see him ally with the Strawhats in the near future.

I can agree to that! Or he'd be in a role like Crocodile played during the Marineford Arc...he's there and one of the top contenders, but he wasn't nearly a chief combatant (though he may play an important job at one point or another).
