A loyal dog in China has been searching around a bus stop for the past 15 days looking for its missing owner
The dog, nicknamed "Huang Huang" by bus drivers, has become a common sight at a busy bus stop near a Buddhist temple in Chengdu city, the Huaxi Metropolis Daily reports.
"Every day I go to Guangyan temple five times, and every day that dog will hop on board my bus to give it an 'inspection'," ticket seller Yang told the newspaper.
"At first I thought it was looking for food, but I later realised that it was looking for its owner." Yang said the dog would come to the stop at eight in the morning and check every bus that stopped until six in the evening.
Some drivers say they saw the dog with its master about a month ago at the temple but were not certain it was its owner, while one driver has considered taking the dog home
"We're worried that its owner might be looking for it and might come back to it," driver Fung told Huaxi Metropolis Daily.
"Such a loyal dog… who would be willing to part with it?"
Now keen internet users have taken video and photos of the dog in a hope the owner is located.
