Based after the 4th Shinobi war. Naruto and Sasuke ended teaming up to defeat Tobi/Madara. Sasuke ends dying protecting Naruto. Given the power through the death of his brother, Naruto defeats Tobi and gains peace for the world. After the war Naruto gets together with Sakura - which turns out to be a major heartbreak. After disappearing for over 5 years, he returns to Konoha - looking for the one who truly loved him.... His angel... Hinata...

He stared at her in horror. That one word, she had screamed out in their most intermediate moment – had killed him. That one word shattered and burnt his world to ashes…. That one word crumbled his future dreams…. The one word she uttered.... mocked, tortured and hurt him more than anything in the world… And now it will continue to do so…
Finally down from her peak, she shifted her pink hair stuck to her large forehead to look towards the man…. The man now backing away in horror and sadness in his now dull blue eyes. “Naruto…. It was an ...” that was all she could say before he disappeared in a huge gust of wind – rattling everything in the room.
Flash forward – 5 years later
It was a stormy rainy night at Konoha. The leaves of even the mightiest trees which hid the village, shook in the wind fiercely. All citizens – villagers and shinobi alike we staying indoors in their homes or at taverns, near a blazing fire. It was at one of these taverns that a pink haired kunoichi was found drinking sake. She appeared to be alone and “drunk”, but nowhere near stopping drinking if the pile of empty bottles which kept on growing. Many men gazed upon the said kunoichi, with lust and hunger in their eyes….
Sakura POV
5 Years… It had been 5 years since that night…. 5 years since she made that mistake…. 5 years since that mistake cost her – her dearest friend…. Naruto…. Her friend who went through hell and back for her sake… To make and keep her happy… Even at the cost of his own….
Sighing to her self she thought while gulping another shot of sake burning down her throat. “Why?? Why did it happen?? Everything was fine… I was happy wasn’t I with Naruto?? Then why did I scream his name… His name which I knew would hurt him the most…. Why?? The only reason for that can be….. I’m sorry Naruto…. I’m so sorry…..” Shedding tears of guilt while chugging down another bottle of sake to drown her sorrows…..
