Its Okay
Lethargic apologies given coerced by obligation
I often flashback to those dual interrogations
A dove sent, a dove not trusted
So with clipped wings into this world we were thrusted
but alright its okay. The sun is still bright like yesterday
I know it's still shining behind the rain
just know it's alright and im okay
My heart on the ground, bury it with a pound of salt
If I could feel it burn I would know it was real.
Illusions heal, illusions don't feel
Sad to say most illusions kill
slowly, An absence of the heart sends it out of mind
but fonder the memories when mine and yours were intertwined
You never seen me cry, and you never seen me die
but if I'm not the same me am I really alive?
but alright, Its okay. The stars going to shine anyway
Even if we are in a different space
It shines the same and that's okay
If I drive down a road without looking 180
maybe I could gain a Ferrari or Mercedes
with a mind focused but all cars have a rear view
so when I'm looking forward I still see you
Thinking of things hopeful and better
