Yeah but I never was 100% which girl it was. It could have been from different classes too.

What if that was a boy, though? :kd:

OT: I have received one serious letter, but it was a while ago, in 2011. And a few Valentine notes as far as I remember, back when I was in high school.

Only received ones with Valentine with a rose. Wasn't really a letter more like "blah blah xXxX "

So like a love note? What about the rose? Is it OK for guys to receive flowers in your country?

i got a letter from a girl half a year ago, she was childish and i didnt want her. A friend of mine told me to go out of my house and i did without knowing what it was. Then I saw her, we talked a bit and she gave me the letter. Pretty awkward feeling when it's 2k16.
I would have loved the letter it if it was from the girl I liked.

So it depends on the type of guy he is whether hes gonna like it or not, but personally I think he will :)

I'm nervous about it. I won't give it to him in person, I will use postmail services. He's not interested in any girl (not in a serious way at least) and he's kinda distant sometimes (he's a Scorpio). I know that before complaining that someone doesn't share their feelings with me, I have to express mine first, at least a part of them, cause I'm usually distant, too. :)

Guess it was yeah. At school we had like some people who would bring flowers + some small love letter I guess. Mostly girls received it but some guys too.

Sending love letters is all I knew because when I was a teenager there was no public internet. Girls appreciate a hand written letter. That said, you never know what to expect with any letter, call, text, or in vivo conversation. Isn't that one of the most exciting parts of starting a new relationship?

That was the time of annoyance. Now is the time of romance.

Dear Some-guy-kun. <--- if you need to add the kun part.

I always thought about sending this to you for a long while. I've been thinking about you day and night. My heart pounds whenever I see you. You're someone that I feel comfort and happy with. I wish to be with you all the time. I will wait for your answer sooner or later.

kyaa!
Excepting the first sentence, my letter contains everything, în a few different words and more extended. I don't need the "kun" but it felt funny writing his name XD

I see. Was the 2011 letter from a gf? We don't really celebrate Valentine's Day in my country, we have a similar holiday but we don't care much about that either. Probably it will get more importance in time.

Yes, the starting point, courting and flirtation, the chase, they are all exciting and the excitement shouldn't stop afterwards. I appreciate it when people share their feelings with me whether in written or orally. I've never sent a love letter before and I've sent long texts only when I was angry or to congratulate someone. So I guess we will both be surprised, he by the letter and I by his reaction. I'm trying to stay positive.

I think if anyone in my age group here in the UK received or gave a love letter they'd get awkward looks.

Superannuated to the max.

Indeed, it's old age. But don't you find it bothersome that we depend so much on online texting nowadays? I know the letter is still in written, and it's best to express yourself verbally, face to face, but composing something on paper needs a little more effort. I been trying to imagine how I would react if I received a love letter, I'd be flattered whether I liked the guy or not. (´・_・`)
