yes they don't have *** with you, they don't put out
I meant that your friends don't have *** with you. Usually. Never underestimate the power of ***; strongest jutsu to exist in our world. And I wouldn't worry about your cousin. When the infatuation wears down he'll be back.
Oh duh lol

Well that was obvious. My question at the end was why bother with dating aside for sexual reasons.

If you have your friends for moral support and kinship, what's the point of dating aside for ***?

If you're defining love as only sexual relationship then you never knew love at all. u.u
To be honest, I think true love is rare. As Diclonius already mentioned, infatuation is a key ingredient in relationships, and I don't consider that to be a good thing.

I've been infatuated before and confused it with love. But when I reflected on my past relationships, it was just an excuse to continue that relationship even though I wasn't happy.

Someone...someone? No respect I tell ya. True love is real. There are three types: Commitment, Romantic, and Friendship. A strong relationship has all three. Clearly the romantic love is an aspect that you won't have with your friends. Time is usually the factor in differentiating love from infatuation.

lol sorry, fixed it XD

I think I see what you're saying. But still, it's hard for me to believe since I've never really felt that way.

Everyone has different experiences and friends, and I suppose I can say I owe my friends my life. They were with me since I was a child and made the most memorable aspects of my life. It's hard for me to comprehend that there is anything more important than them.

Yeah, well how old are you? You'll eventually experience it and understand. It is one of those things that exist outside of logic. But there is an evoluntionary priority to take your children, spouse, and family over others.

I'm 22

and yeah time will only tell. But as I said in a previous comment, I can't see the current me being tied down in marriage and a family. I like having space and privacy and not having to worry about anyone aside for myself.

I'm currently content and relationships from my experience only complicate things. No matter how good it is, there will always be some really dumb problem.

Yeah that might change though. Most guys at 22 aren't interested in settling down. I would guess around 28 you might start getting some weird inner drive to start a family. Maybe not though. Everyone is different.
