"ITACHI!!!" my father called me. "Someone's here to see you!"
I grumpily walked to the door to see who it was.
"Eh?! Kisame? What are you doing here?" I asked, letting him in.
"Nothing man, I heard you was here, so I decided to drop by," he glared at me, "You mind?"
"Nah, why would I..." Kisame followed me to the kitchen of the farm.
"So, how you knew I was here?" I sat down.
"Oh, Konan told me-"
I choked on air. "What? How she knew?"
Kisame looked at me. "You didn't tell her? Wow...she must be...I'm not gonna say it."
"Shut up Kisame, you think Pein would let her stalk me?" Anyone who knew Pein knew he was really protective over Konan.
"Yeah yeah, good point," Kisame said. "So...Itachi...why the hell are you in a farm?"
"That's just cause-"
"KISAME!!!" my mother ran into the kitchen and jumped on Kisame, who's eyes poped out and didn't dare move. "OH. How are you? I havn't seen you in so long!!!" She squeezed his neck into a hug, she was half the size of him.
"Er..well..I..." Kisame struggled to break free, "Didn't know you were here..."
I tensed. "HEY MUM? Don't you have DAD?"
She blushed slightly, and Kisame looked as is he was going to punch me.
"Stop it Itachi, You know it's not like that." she smiled.
The phone rang and I gladly walked out of the room, not looking at Kisame's eyes which would have read: "Don't freaking leave me here alone!"
I went to living room and picked up the phone. "Hello?"
"Uh...er..hello..." a familiar voice squivered. "It-Itachi?"
"....Konan??" My hands felt numb.
"Err..hey. Wh..what's up?"
"How did you find this number?" If Pein found out I was phoning with Konan...whoa.
"Um..your number?" She was silent for a moment. "Your mum...eheheh..."
"o_0 What in the...Nevermind. Why are you calling, Konan?"
She was silent again. "I..just wanted to speak to you..."
Oh wow. Now I was really dead. I didn't know what do after that, so I just hung up.

I walked Kisame out to the street, and when he left I was slowly walking back. Just then I heard someone running over to me.
"Aye, Itachi," Karin stopped before me. I felt uneasy and my stomach felt twisted. Why was she so...
Oh God.

With me. On front of the farm. Panic.
Karin looked around. "What are you doing here?"
"N-nothing. I was just walking by, I-"
"But your in your PS's.." She said flatly.
I looked down. Damn.
"Er..well that's cause..."
"Nevermind. You know where Sasuke is?" Karin asked, officially cutting off any sign of interest in me.
"Well," What should I do? Telling her Sasuke is inside will give away that this place is ours. But I didn't want to lie to her..."I don't where he is."
Kill me."Mmkay. See you around." She grinned and I felt my insides melt.
As I watched her go, somehow I wished she saw through my lies and stuck around some more to talk with me...

Finally, home sweet home, I thought as I walked into low-ceilinged, brown house.
Now I can relax and forget about anyone seeing me in that farm...

BAM. Blue hair, black dress, deep eyes, staring at me.
Konan. Standing there as is if we shared this room.
I resiled and hit my head on the glass.
"Ow..Yoh! KONAN! What the hell are you doing??" Was that a bit harsh?
Her eyes grew scared. I instantly felt guilty.
"Um...Itachi. I wanted to say it before, but the phone line went off...So I thought I would tell you face-to-face."
I blinked. "How did you get in here?"
She looked down, then at the window. Women...
"Okay. You know what?" I turned her around and pushed her out the door. "I think you know pretty damn well what's gonna happen to me if Pein finds us right now. So, you are going to go find him now, and act like none of this every happened and-"
"Wait," She grabbed my wrist and turn around. "I didn't tell you..."
I knew pretty well what she wanted to tell me. I couldn't let it happen. No way, I'm not risking my neck for this.
"Konan, it's okay. You don't have to tell me-"
"I know your secret." She said tonelessly.
Freeze. Huh? What secret? I never knew I had a secret...

She winked at me, and right that instant I knew she talking about my brother, Sasuke.
