Sounds like a dystopia if you're being serious. What your suggesting reminds me of this one movie starring Christian Bale called "Equillibrium", where Bale's character lived in a Utopia (or dystopia), which was maintained by having the general public injecting a drug called Prozium every few hours. Prozium nullified all human emotions, and was created to prevent "WWIV", seeing as how war was fueled by anger, hatred, and contempt. In the Utopia, everything was "perfect", and society was enlightened to the point where people developed gun base martial arts (it was an early 2000s movie).

But of course all Utopias are truly Dystopias where one class of society is oppresssed by another; humans arent perfect. It turned out the law enforcement in this universe (Bales character) were ordered to irraricate any form of media, text, art, and imagery that envoked emotion, and elimate anyone caught involved with it. Sorta like Farenheit 451, but with gun kung fu.
So, if society went down a similar path to Equilibrium and had the general populace sedated on acid or any drug that made them feel love, and understanding, you'd probably see the oppression and irratication of those who understand the value of having a full range of human emotion by the elite class in power who benefit from having society sedated and happy. This is without mentioning the long term effects of acid, being depression and psychoses.
So nah, society on acid is a bad idea. We probably wouldnt even develop gun kung fu, so I dont see an upside.
