Wally was sitting on the rooftops of NBVille, listening to his make-shift police scanner. His feet dangled off the edge as he flipped through frequencies and stations. "Damn, slow night tonight. Then again, I guess that's better than the city nee-" His train of thought was cut off by the news of a double homicide in a mansion on the outskirts of town. "Whoa, guess I am needed," Wally said, running down the building and through the streets in a blur of silver and red. He zig-zags through the streets, easily avoiding the people and vehicles in his way until he reaches the house. He cocks his head, noticing that the lights were on in each floor but the first. "Looks like I won't be able to see anything from here." He zips around the house, looking through each of the windows as he runs across the walls and sides of the building before returning to his former spot. "2 on the second floor, 3 on the third. Hostages all on the second. Gonna have to play this one safe." Wally rushes towards the back of the house where one of the windows were open on the second floor. He runs up the wall and through the window, landing in what appears to be a bedroom.
He zipped through the door and down the hallway towards the stairs where one of the guards were standing. As he ran, faster than he could hope to even notice, Wally ducked low, driving his shoulder into the back of his knee. The sheer force knocked him off of his feet, leaving him suspended in midair for a brief second before falling back to the ground. But a brief second was all Wally needed. As the man's descent started, Wally rushes back and drives his knee into his back, knocking him back up before rushing him into a closet, using his super speed to put his uniform and mask on over his own in the blink of an eye and leaving the unconscious guard in the closet. "I'll return this. Though they probably won't let you wear in prison," Wally says, adjusting the position of his gun in his hands.
He runs up to the third floor at normal speed, bursting through the door. "HEY!" he yells, using a fake voice while fake panting, leaning against the wall. "We've got one of those meta-human freaks in here. He rushed us...I barely got away."
"Are you serious? Goddammit, the yellow bastard is gonna kill us!" one of the guards yelled. Yellow men? "If Zoom finds out about this, we'll be ****ed."
Zoom? Who the hell was Zoom? "Then let's kill the fast ****er and get outta here!" Wally yells, standing aside to let the three men run out.
"Fast? Must be the Speedster Zoom told us about. This may be going according to plan after all," one of the guards said in a loud whisper. Speedster? Must be talking about me. Looks like this Zoom guy did all this to lure me out. What kind of bastard is this? The smirk Wally had behind his mask from tricking these morons faded into a scowl of anger. "Change of plans, fleshlights," Wally said, rushing using his super speed to drive the gun into each of their faces, knocking out two and leaving one conscious. He rips off the uniform and pushes the third guard against the wall. "Who is Zoom?" Wally yelled. "Why did he do all of this just to draw me out?" The third guard laughed weakly. "You? You're not the one he's after. Heh, heh, heh, you must think awful full of yourself, kid. He's not gonna waste his time with some-!" Wally didn't let him finish, deciding to just knock him up with a quick speed-jab. He heard sirens outside as lights filled the windows. "Cops," he sneered, dropping the guard and rushing over to the hostages, freeing them before rushing out of the doors and into the city.
