Just some of the thoughts that crossed his mind as he stood atop a skyscraper, surveying NBVille. He had invited the strange bat to join him today, but not to discuss interests and build friendships, no. He had allowed the man to walk away with a case full of Kryptonite--tiny crystals that could cripple him just by being close enough. He wasn't comfortable with allowing this man to prance around the city with his only weakness on hand. Clark was concerned, and needed to know if this man would become a threat now or later on. Better now.
He folded his arms and glanced through the streets and alleyways again with his keen eyes to spot the bat, but it appeared he was using unconventional means to make the meeting.

was somewhat interested to know more about him--but at the same wary of his abilities.
