Mission Name: Self Immolation
Type: Initiative
Alignment: Neutral
Rank: B
Description: Some idiot villain managed to piss off one of the city's most powerful criminal overlords. He's hired you to teach the kid a lesson. By lesson, he means murder of course. But, money is money. Your task is to track down and murder the villain who pissed off the criminal overlord.
Reward: 40 EXP

For Metal Knight the end justified the means. It wasn't that he was particular vicious or vindictive; just extremely hard to discourage once he set his mind to something. It was why he didn't flinch in the face of using overwhelming force or violence. It was why he didn't hesitate when his targets were civilians, or powerless, or innocent, or women, or children, or cancer-ridden babies that had joined the Peace Corps. To Bofoy all his targets were one and the same no matter their age, *** or personal beliefs. In his rare moments of unproductive self-reflection he got a kick out of calling himself the least biased person on Earth.

Thus, when an anonymous client offered him a large sum of money to eliminate some kid Bofoy hadn't hesitated for a second. He had tracked the message and discerned the identity of his client for safety reasons, but other than that he had raised no objections to the assignment. On the contrary he had deployed MIDAS as soon as he read the message. Metal Knight never turned down a job; he needed more funds for ASMODEUS' polonium generator and had no intentions of turning down some easy cash just for the sake of a bleeding heart. Life was cheap, polonium was not.

Disguised as a middle-aged Hispanic man MIDAS, under the careful control of Metal Knight, walked the streets of the city in search of a particular warehouse. It had taken Bofoy mere minutes to triangulate the boy's position within a few miles using geopositioning. The kid's accounts on the social networks were pathetically easy to hack. Really, his last name plus '123' was hardly a secure password.

MIDAS arrived at the rundown warehouse with little trouble and, sensing no potential witnesses around it in the cold night, it barred its short adamantium claws and tore the door to the warehouse into pieces, as if it was made of cardboard. Stepping through the ruins of the entrance the robot transmitted its master's voice perfectly. "Resistance is futile. Surrender now, and die a painless death." The kid's only response was a hail of gunfire, the amateur villain firing what Metal Knight identified as a FN P90 through MIDAS' auditory filters. MIDAS took cover behind a nearby pillar, registering the individual bullets being fired until Metal Knight calculated that the magazine was empty. Then it stepped out of cover and fired a single shot from the Type 25, the super-heated plasma penetrating the villain's cover like butter before it tore a fist-sized hole through his stomach. Sensing the man's vitals failing MIDAS turned on its heels and walked back out into the cold, never looking back.
