[ LoT ] Superman vs Zi Yu

, now enjoying his new moniker as Superman, floats down onto the war ridden battlefield. Scattered soldiers and tanks along with steaming debris and craters adorn the setting, making it quite the gritty scenery for a gritty showdown.

Clark folds his arms while hovering 5m above the ground do to look down on his opponent.

"You'd better turn back, unless you plan and joining them," he says as he points at the destruction all around.

was scouting around the area, he would hear a strong voice coming from above, speaking to him in a condescending manner. He saw a man in red and blue levitating in mid air.

What makes you think I'm as weak as them. He replied while he summons 3 Greatswords.

Technique Name: Dull Piercers

Description: With weapon construct, Zi Yu can forge numerous airborn swords that be used for attacks. Each sword doing 20% of his Energy stat, he can do unarmed wielding by having telekenetic control over them. Exact range for it would be 2m, but Zi Yu can use his swords as projectiles.
Note: Maximum swords that can be wielded, 3.
Note: If a sword were to be destroyed it would take 1 turn for it to be restored.

"I don't think," he replies as his eyes glow a demonic red. "I know you're as weak as them."

With that Clark flies at the man with stunning speed, as he would then deliver two rapid pushes to his chest and neck in an effort to pummeling have to the ground, creating another crater on the battlefield.

Zi Yu chucked after Superman had made his statement, he would see the man fly straight at him so he decided do a sidestep to his left, and while doing so he send in one of the greatswords to pierce through Superman's back. At the same time he would position his two remaining swords next to both his arms.

"No, it wouldn't be that easy," Clark says as the man dodges. In fact, he was counting on it. With his super senses Clark hears and feels the distortion of air as the sword lances to pierce his unprotected back.

With a swift turn, still in flight, Clark releases a wave of solar radiation from his body with a maximum radius of 1 meter. Fast and hot enough to melt steel, this pulse would sizzle the blades to nothing but molten metal. Meanwhile, as the rapidly cooling slumps of metal now fell, Clark advanced on the man and slammed a palm square in the middle of his forehead. The cloak of solar radiation would sizzle at his skin with a damage constant of 6 (20% of 29, rounded up for clean numbers).

Then, with a palm firm on the man's forehead, Clark drove his head down into the ground with enough concussive force to knock out an elephant.

"Stay. Down," he would say as the man's head made impact.

Description: With his Kryptonian physiology Clark is able to see and hear even above superhuman. In addition to a higher perception:reaction quotient, Clark is able to see other waves of the Electro Magnetic Spectrum such as UV, Gamma, and even Microwaves up to long ranged. He is also able to hear varying frequencies such as radio and telephone calls up to long ranged. He cab only listen however and can't reply or talk on these frequencies. He is also able to feel the slightest of tremors on ground and distortions in the air such sound or delicate air pressure changes. His Intelligence increases by +5 because of this.

Description: By taking the principles of his Olympian Fist' one step higher, Clark is able to release a thin, near invisible coat of solar energy radiation 1 meter around his body. This film is extremely hot to the touch and allows him to melt through lesser metals and organic materials of D ranked and below and resist the damage of at least one C ranked attack of that nature. This cloak damages a target by 20% of the user's ENE, while the contact remains. It lasts 3 turns:


Note: Can only be used three times, with a 1 turn cool down between each use.
Note: Cannot be used while 'Olympian Fist' is active.

Zi Yu was surprised to see his sword melt before having any contact, at the same time he felt the temperature surrounding him had risen greatly. Zi Yu would see Superman's palm growing in size incredibly quick along with the intense heat charging towards him, so he decided to leap back minimising the force of the strike, luckily striking Zi Yu's amazing hair. Before landing Zi Yu pierced one of his weapons in the ground infront of him, and charged another sword at Superman, only this time aiming at his face so when melted it would block out his vision. When landed, using the sword that had been pierced into the ground, he would grab onto the handle with both hands and pushed himself forward, so he would kick Superman, knowing full well of the consequences, in the temple while rotating around the sword anticlockwise. Once Zi Yu had reached to the opposite side of Supes, he'd retreat back.
"Not bad for man who'd dress in up tights."

Clark sees the man throw another of his swords forward. A futile attempt, but also a distracting one. Clark slightly tilts his head and body to the left, effectively dodging the blade as he zooms forward in yet another blur of speed. Considering the distance, he would almost reach in an instant.

But as he advanced he sees a kick incoming. Clark quickly decided whether to tank it or dodge. He went with the former and took the kick head on. The mere human couldn't even put a scratch on his body, much less his pride. He takes the kick and grabs the man's foot in a vice grip while violently twisting it outward from his face. With that the man will never walk again on that foot.

He then focused energy in his eyes and shot two beams to strike the man's hands which were still holding on to the blade. The strike wasn't that dangerous, but it would be painful enough to cause him to instinctively release his hold on the sword--and his anchorage to the ground. From there, while still holding his leg Clark would lift him up, over his head, and then slam him down on the ground directly behind his position. Maybe break some bones. Or worse.

"I said, stand down. Pack it in now and I'll let you live. Resist...." His eyes warmed up for another laser assualt. This fight was clearly in his favor. It would be wise to surrender and live to fight another day.

You would take 6 damage from Soldier of The Sun and around 2 from the laser vision (my uneven energy attribute makes these calculations tricky.)

Description: Using his superhuman physiology, Clark is able to reach great speed. By pushing from the ground in either a run or flight Clark can reach incredible speeds only appearing as a blue and red blur to mundane eyes. This ability grants him a boost of +5 Speed. While using Godspeed Clark is unable to use any of his other superpowers however as all his focus is on this otherworldly speed and keeping himself from wrecking stuff.

Description: By harvesting his stored Solar Energy Clark can emit focused beams of radiation from his pupils that, with enough concentration can be used offensively and in a supplementary manner. In the offensive way Clark can fire beams of high energy lasers at his targets that can reach up to mid ranged. These beams aren't really dangerous, they can deliver 2nd degree burns to regular human skin, after sustained contact and melt traditional metals like Iron and Copper. If left trained on a target these lasers can become quite dangerous. For more "strategic" uses Clark can also tone down the radiation to provide X-Ray Vision. With this he can see through people and objects up to short range. The X-Ray doesn't hurt people or things.

Note: Laser Vision aspect costs a move while X-Ray can be used passively for a max of 3 turns per use. After which it takes 2 turn to recharge.

While getting the hit on Superman, Zi Yu tried to pull the sword fixed into the ground luring himself towards it and away from his opponent. However Zi Yu felt an iron-will grip around his right foot, interrupting his movements completely. Having one foot on the ground due to the circumstances, he felt his foot rotating in a dangerous direction at a violent paste. He decided to jump up and rotate his body facing the other side, and bend his knee with his captured leg, drawing himself closer to Supes, so he can deliver a kick to Supes face again, pushing him back, hoping for him to let go so he can leap back.
It seems I have underestimated you.

When landing, using his telekenetic control over his sword, he pulls it out of the ground and positions its beside his right arm, and summoning another beside his left.

As the second kick comes in bound Clark feels a snap within both his mind and body. Something horrible wrong has set itself rampant within him--murderous intent. Clark then feels all the mental barriers that prevented him from harming the man, from harming humans evaporate. He was about to bring the house down on this poor soul.

With a powerful slam of his hands, and his height advantage due to flight Clark powers a defeating shock wave of air and sound into the man's body. Slamming him into the ground and forming a crater. He would become temporarily impaired in his earing (-10 to INT) from the sound of the clap, like thunder dropping from the clouds, as well as the brunt wind that forced his body into the crater.

But Clark doesn't stop there, he flies down into this mini crater and delivers two rapid fire hooks to the man's throat and chest coated in pure solar radiation. As he delivers the punches he had his X-Ray vision trained on his body, assessing the most critical places to strike.

Even after his super punches Clark fires off two more regular punches to the sides of his face. From a third person view it would look like Clark was punching the ground, but in truth his poor human of a target was being subjected to blows strong enough to bend steel. God help his soul.

Description: With his durable body Clark will slam his hands together to produce a deafening sound similar to the mundane clapping, but multiplied due to his Kryptonian physiology. The clap itself is enough to temporarily impair anyone's hearing who just so happens to be in short ranged of Clark, dropping their hearing senses greatly (-10 to INT for 1 turn). This move also has a secondary function, in addition to being unnaturally loud the clap sends a gust of wind the the direction he aimed his hands up to mid ranged. This wind is brunt and damages the opponent with 60% of the user's STR attribute while pushing them back a subtle 5m. This is so because Clark is literally using the strength of his arms to displace the air between his palms.

Description: Using his brute strength, Clark will utilize his inhuman durability as a Kryptonian and deliver a wrecking punch to his target. Normally, punches aren't that noteworthy, but when Clark coats his fist in rudimentary Solar Energy radiation his punches are enough to shake the ground around him up to mid-range range and create a crater up to short range. The coating is super heated and allows him to melt through certain substances while he swings his hands, the coating also heats the air around his fists causing it to expand and create less friction. His punch can fly through C ranked lesser metals and organic material with ease, and hit the target with unhindered damage. This is, as mentioned earlier, purely a strength coordinated move. This attack does 45% of the user's STR and 15% of the user's ENE in damage.

Note: Can only be used in rapid succession twice, after which it takes 2 turns to recharge.

Zi Yu had just taken probably the greatest beating ever known to man, the first blow he had received would have him contemplating on life, each attack he would have a new question to himself. What is my purpose? Why am I here? Was there even a reason for this fight? The questions would keep on coming. Finally once the torture had ended Zi Yu realised he made a big mistake fight this man, so he rolled over desperately crawling away in fear. Making an attempt to run.

"Wh-What have I done?" Clark looks at his own bloodied fists, and then at the mangled figure of a man crawling away.

(You snapped, Clark. You almost killed him)

He shook his head, denying the fact. He lowered himself until his feet touched the ground and stared at the crater for a while before the whimpering of the man registered to his wandering mind. He allowed him to crawl to safety, he allowed him to escape the brutality.

He felt like apologizing. But he'd already done enough. He turned to the sky and shot off. He'd contemplate what he had done here today for days to come in the silence of Earth's atmosphere, and what he was.

A savage.
