Description: A kid has lost his favorite pet. You've just begun your journey - you figure you'd best start out small and test out your abilities. Thus, you volunteer to help the kid find his pet, and to return it to him (for a price). Fortunately, the pet seems to be of an endangered species. Others seem to be looking for it as well, so your objective is now to decide what you want to do with it. Keep the animal, give it back, or sell it.

was bored....And hungry. Not a lot happened ever since he went solo. It was strange to him that hadn't seen a single EVO for him cure or beat up since arriving to this city. He decided to try his luck in the suburbs next. Once there, he looks around while walking. It was mostly quiet and there were some people either standing around, talking to someone, relaxing, or doing lawn/yard work. Ugh....Come on. I know some EVO's got away from the Event, there's just gotta be some around here.
Shifting his eyes to the side, he notices a child looking at a flyer taped to a pole. Rex walks over to see what they were looking at. Looking at their face, they seemed sad. Taking a look at the paper, Rex sees that the flyer said missing and in it is a picture of the creature with its description.
Something wrong, kid?
They go on to tell Rex what had happened and ever since then they still have yet to find it. Rex agrees to help look for it....For something in return...But he leaves that part out for now. He asks the child where they should meet once he found it and tells him at their house. With a thumbs up, Rex tells the child to leave it to him. He'll find it no time.
Despite the details in finding it, Rex was curious as to what kind of animal this pet was. He told himself that he would return it to the child no matter what and wasn't going to change that decision. It would negate everything that he had done up until this point. He wasn't selfish or greedy, he just wanted to survive like any other living being would want in this world. He didn't even need to think about it.
Now where could it be?Hmm...
He looked around the neighborhood, the city, even in places that were small, cramped and seemed unlikely for the pet to be. Rex takes note that he isn't the only one looking around. He sees ugly looking characters throughout the streets. From the trash cans and sewers to them questioning people while holding up the flyer of the exact same pet that he searching for. They even went so far as to getting aggressive to get the information they wanted. Scratching his head, he continued to look. He continued to think while moving. He tried the park. He didn't know why, he just did it. He checked the trees, the greenhouse, and as he thoroughly checked the bushes, Rex believed he had found it and with a satisfied look, He takes the endangered creature and returns to child's house. He had left his number to the child and called them in advance, confirming that he had it and that he was on his way over. Nothing would get in his way of making sure the pet and its owner stayed together. Returning to the suburbs, Rex finds the kid waiting in front of their house just like they agreed. Before he could say a word as he holds up the pet with a smile on his face, the ugly characters show up to claim the pet. Someone approached them offering more than what the kid could offer and intended to hand it over to them to collect the money. These guys are Evo's....Hard to describe....They had many faces and looked like throw up in general. They could talk so their sanity and reason seemed to be somewhat intact and their skin seemed thick and tough enough to withstand a degree of damage.

This was somewhat bad. His ability to cure Evo's was nullified after a previous the battle by an enemy with a strange device who seemed to have a good understanding of Rex's abilities and so he couldn't use it at the moment, but that's for another time. Smirking at the one in middle who said that, Rex tells the kid to stand back and go hide somewhere until it was over. There were three of them and they all looked alike....Triplets? Anyway, Rex while holding the pet under his left arm, activates his nanites and transforms his right arm into the slam cannon. The maw reels back and grabs a chunk of the concrete from the sidewalk behind him. Once it was inside the cannon, Rex aims and shoots at the one Evo in the middle. The ground that is fired out is shaped like paper crumbled up into a ball. Upon impact, it sends the Evo in the middle reeling back with incredible force. At best the hit should leave the Evo unconscious as he hits the vehicle at the end of the block. The other two looking at it each other in surprise, become angered and both charge at Rex at the same time. Putting away the cannon, Rex then changes the same hand/arm once more, but this time into a smack hand. With this large hand he grabs the Evo charging on his left once he was within range and swings the Evo's body including his large hand into the Evo charging on the right. The result would have their bodies crash and fall over, while bouncing off the ground like a pebble on water as Rex releases his grip. Taking this opportunity, Rex goes to the kid and quickly gives the pet to them so that he could make use of both his hands and not be burdened.
Now with that done, Rex transforms his left arm into a smack hand to complete the set. As the Evo slowly get up, wondering what hit them. One touched his head as if recovering from a hangover and the other still surprised by what he had witnessed. Rex already within range, Grabs each one with a smack hand, picking them up that they are on their toes and smashes them together, making their heads collide into each other that makes a sound. He then drops them and watches them lay unconscious for a moment before returning to his client. He has nanites retract and put away his Smack hands before replying to the child.
Kid, call the cops on these fools. They won't bother you again.
The Kid would go and take their phone to call the police. Once they tell Rex that they are on their way, Rex tells him that his job is done and leaves with a satisfied smile. The Kid silently thanks Rex while lifting up their pet and making them wave goodbye with their paw.

Description: Rex has nanites bonded to him on a molecular level. Having activated nanites makes him an EVO; however, unlike most EVOs, Rex has the ability to control his nanites at will, allowing him to generate various machinery from his body. However, Rex's machines are very heavy and it is the internal mechanisms of the machines that allow him to lift them. The user can withdraw and switch a current build with another, but it will count as a move. His builds are as follows:
Smack Hands: The Smack Hands are a pair of massive gauntlets that Rex can transform his hands into. They give him incredible strength (+10 strength), allowing him to break through an obstacle or to lift heavy objects. Rex can also rotate the Smack Hands when they are balled into a fist: this mode allows the Smack Hands to function as high-powered drills. When using the drill, Rex can tunnel through the ground using this, or he can use it to add additional power behind his strength (extra +10 to strength). When the Smack Hands' drill mode is used underwater, the Smack Hands launch Rex at what he's fighting.
Slam Cannon: The Slam Cannon is a cannon projectile that Rex can turn both arms. It does not produce its own ammo, instead it shoots anything he can put into it, usually a piece of floor. The maw on the back end of the Slam Cannon extends into whatever material that is behind it. Like a cannon, it hits the target with great force.
