Looks
Jay is a young man with a firm stature. He stands tall at 6 feet (1.8 Meters) and weighs in at about 190 pounds (86 Kilos). He has deep emerald green eyes and shaggy dark brown hair.
Jay has strong defined cheekbones that accent his lean body structure. His jawline is incredibly narrow, and he has a wide chin. Though not the most intimidating, Jay actually has a very healthy and incredible physique, which is emphasized by his height. Standing up, he seems very lean, but with closer looks, one can see how defined his muscles really are. He has a balanced tan skin tone.
One of the most common looks that Jay would have is his bright lively smile, always giving off a friendly appearance. Even in serious situations and fights, there was always a smile that can be seen on him, and any case otherwise would signify serious issues.
Jay has a series of outfits that he possesses. His wardrobe is dependent on the occasion though. Most notably though, he seems to sport a t-shirt which is black and has a green stripe in the middle and green stripes on the sides of his shirt. Along with it, he wears brown cargo pants with pockets at the knees and green and white shoes.
Personality
From a young age, Jay was always quite an outgoing child, very active and curious of his surroundings. One thing that stood out among others was Jay's natural trust in everyone. He always had the belief that others should be trusted until proven unworthy. Luckily for him, this type of thinking is what helped Jay make so many friends. Unfortunately, this trust also became an issue when he became hurt from trusting the wrong people. Stemming from his responsible nature though, Jay learned from this and has since become more careful of this and not to be so generous with his trust. Despite this however, Jay still always maintains a respectful nature with others. He always gives his best efforts when giving a first impression, and in things he works on. This stems from his belief that anything with value should be made as best as it can be.
Jay has a very fortunate mind, being very reasonable in his thinking, which helps him in both academics and other aspects of his life. It was this mature way of thinking that allows Jay too stay in control of his emotions during stressful times. He always tends to look at the bright side, but is not oblivious to the negative sides of things.
If there's one thing to notice about Jay though, is that he always seems to be doing something. In fact, he forces himself to find something to do in the case that there aren't any previously made plans. In actuality, Jay is extremely lazy, procrastinating on work and not having enough effort to even getting up to move. It was this trait that Jay wished to change immediately, and for that reason, Jay has forced himself to constantly train, battle, teach, and work in an active manner. Fortunately for him, Jay has showed promised in keeping his word, but has faltered every now and then.
Jay also seems to have a a well-rounded personality. Jay's interests seem to show no bound, as he likes to indulge in a myriad of different activities and practices. For example, Jay has been extremely interested in music, and has since learned 3 instruments. He's also interested in science, visiting different scientists across NBVille to learn about new studies. He's even gotten into politics, learning about the relationship of the Earth among other foreign planets and even the general ideological differences within the Earth in regards to the roaming super heroines and villains. There is no topic or subject that Jay isn't willing to at least learn a small amount on.
It is this personality that affects Jay's interest in abilities of all kinds. Jay does have an obvious interest in learning and mastering all sorts of abilities. For this reason, Jay has a fundamental basic understanding of almost every metahuman or technological ability known in the world, a result from his constant studying through scientist findings and traveling.

Origin Story

Life was just a normal boring time as a kid, and it didn't look like it would get any better. Instead of spending time at the beach, his summer was going to be spent on a cross-country vacation with his grandfather and cousin.
A short time after they left NBVille, Jay went on a walk through the woods in which they were camping, and witnessed the crash of a strange capsule from space. This capsule happened to contain the Bio-Omnimatrix, a pair of powerful gauntlet-like devices, that firmly affixed itself onto Jay's arms. Upon trying to remove the gauntlets out of shock and fear, he accidentally activated it and saw himself transform before his very eyes into a beast with unique powers. After some time of more confusion and shock, Jay curiously found himself learning about newfound abilities only to revert back to his true form.
Jay's grandpa later revealed to Jay what the device really was and what it was capable of. He explained the device came from another world, and how he was part of an Intergalactic Law Enforcement Organization, known as the plumbers. Jay was then surprised further to learn that the device would be deactivated until Jay was properly allowed to use it. As excited as he was, he looked at his arms with a smile of intense thrill. And in that moment, Jay's life changed forever.

With the sudden rise and surge of heroes and villains popping out of nowhere in NBVille, Jay thought it was the best time to prove himself. With nothing but his the clothes on his back and the training he'd go through in the Plumber Academy, Jay was ready to prove himself to the world.
