Secret Identity: Doctor Stephen Vincent Strange
Looks: Older looking than most heroes, Strange has a weathered appearance, his black hair grays towards his temples, and his face and grey eyes carry enough age to bespeak wisdom. He is however still heroically built, standing at 6'2" and weighing in at 180 lbs. In battle, he dons a loose fitting blue shirt with a large white symbol emblazoned on the chest, and matching black plants and boots. He keeps a yellow sash tied around his waste, and wears a crimson cloak with a cowl which extends to a few points behind his head. Oh, he also has a pornstache.
Personality: Dr. Strange’s character is defined by two outstanding factors: his extreme dedication to his task as a mystic guardian of Earth, and his need to keep his secrets safe. That said, Doc is also a very pleasant, polite and compassionate man who makes friends and allies easily, and is always there when they need him. Dr. Strange’s adaptability and ingenuity are also noteworthy : he has defeated vastly superior foes by means of his resolve and resourcefulness on many occasions.Dr. Strange still troubled by the selfish, petty behavior he exhibited as a surgeon, and tries to avoid reminders of that time in his life.

Origin Type: Magic Origin
Origin Story: Stephen Strange was a brilliant but heartless surgeon, a money-hungry SOB, until his career was ruined by nerve damage incurred in an auto accident. He squandered his personal fortune and degenerated into a hopeless derelict, searching the world for a cure to his condition. He eventually found himself in Tibet at the home of an incredibly powerful sorcerer, from whom he sought a magical cure. A threat to the sorcerer's life from his traitorous pupil rekindled the long-lost light in Strange’s soul, and he accepted an offer to become the wizard’s new student. Enlightened by his experience and new teacher, this even would lead Strange to learn and master many mystic arts from his teacher, whereupon he would use his new talents to stand as a mystical guardian to earth and his dimension.
History: Stephen Strange was the eldest child of Eugene and Beverly Strange. His entire life he was incredibly intelligent, and this lead him to become a wildly successful surgeon. But alas, the success poisoned and corrupted him, causing him to become greedy and arrogant. Until, that is, he got into a car accident that robbed him the use of his hands. After becoming an apprentice to a powerful sorcerer, however, his hands and spirit were both healed. Armed with a repaired body, and a massive knowledge of magic, Dr. Strange seeks to protect Earth from all threats both ordinary and extraordinary.

Description of Powers: Doctor Strange is one of the most powerful sorcerers in existence. Like most sorcerers, he draws his power from three primary sources: the invocation of powerful mystic entities or objects, the manipulation of the universe's ambient magical energy, and his own psychic resources. Strange's magical repertoire includes energy projection and manipulation, matter transformation, animation of inanimate objects, teleportation, illusion-casting, mesmerism, thought projection, astral projection, dimensional travel, time travel and mental possession. Although his magical abilities are incredibly diverse, Dr. Strange usually has to cast his spells through an incantation, hand waving, or some sort of ritual, depending entirely on the spell. This causes him to be somewhat inferior to anyone who were to have any of these abilities available for passive use. Doctor Strange's powers are sometimes less effective against strictly science-based opponents, although he can overcome this limitation with effort.
