Kōtetsu Inuzuka
(Kemono Kiba) – Beast Fang
Type: Artifact
Rank: S
Range: Short – Long
Chakra: N/A
Damage: 100
Description: The Beast Fang, 獣牙, is a manifested fang of the Basmu lodged in Kotetsu’s body. It was discovered by Iskandrous when he examined Kotetsu’s body at his medical clinic in Tsumigakure following their battle in the Kaizoku Sea. The fang is no larger than an average forearm, just under one foot in length. Interestingly, the fang grew inside Kotetsu’s body rather than breaking off the Basmu at all; in this sense, it is more like a bone growth rather than an actual fang taken from the beast. Its features appear ivory and smooth, with a pointed tip though no edges. Because the fang grew inside Kotetsu it has infected him with Scarlet Rot, though this was later contained and controlled by Iskandrous. Passively, the Fang appears to enhance Kotetsu’s base nature, enhancing his Inuzuka clan techniques depending on the state he is merged with his companions. While unmerged, considered the ‘base’ state, from his entities his Inuzuka techniques gain an additional 15 damage. He also gains 15 physical damage mitigation and suffers from a 1-point Vitality penalty due to the infestation of Scarlet Rot.

Sōjōkōka (lit. 相乗効果, “Synergy”): The Beast Fang provides Synergy depending on the state that Kotetsu is in with his companions. By default, Kotetsu gains the above base state enhancements and penalties. While merged with powerful breeds of Ninken, specifically those gained through Mastery, Kotetsu’s damage enhancement grows to a total of 30 additional damage to his Inuzuka, Taijutsu, and Kenjutsu. Likewise, while in this state, he loses the damage mitigation gained from his base state and instead gains a passive 20 health points healed per turn. He also loses no points in Vitality. While merged with more average Ninken, such as the High Breed, Kotetsu gains no enhanced damage from his state, 20 stackable physical damage mitigation, and his rotations gain an additional 2 base speed points. Note that while merged with two different types of Ninken will not cause both of these states to activate; rather, the state that has more of a specific type of Ninken will be favored.

Kusatta Kaiten (lit. 腐った回転, “Rotten Rotation”): Rotten Rotation is a Scarlet Rot/Inuzuka combination technique that is activated at the cost of a single move. When activated the user will perform a typical rotation that has a long-range reach, dispersing Rot within mid-range of their position that will immediately infest anyone caught by it with the basic form of Scarlet Rot. The Rot itself moves at the speed of an S-Rank Wind Release technique enhanced by 5 base speed levels. The rotation itself inflicts 100 damage strong to all natures and abilities, with the exception of Anutu and its components. Can be used four times per battle.

Shinja no Okurimono (lit. 信者の贈り物, “Adherent’s Gift”): The fang’s infestation has caused Kotetsu’s body to respond to the Scarlet Rot. While he does not gain an affinity for it or the capability to become immune to it, he does become able to tap into its capabilities periodically. Passively, Kotetsu’s Inuzuka techniques, specifically those that are strictly Taijutsu in nature and inflict their damage on contact, become able to infest their target with the basic form of the Scarlet Rot. Kotetsu becomes able to make use of any canon Scarlet Rot technique, with the exception of Advanced (Basmu) or Scarlet Aeonia, through the Beast Fang. He can make use of a single Scarlet Rot technique every three turns.
(Sagīnjōzu) – The Sanguine Maw
Type: Relic Weapon
Rank: Forbidden
Range: N/A
Chakra: N/A
Damage: 80
Description: The Sanguine Maw is a two-handed and double-edged axe crafted from Tiamat’s ivory bones. At the base of the grip is a single crystalline orb flickering with black and white energies representative of a fully powered weapon core. The axe is bound to the Boar seal and can be summoned to the user or sealed passively at their discretion. When wielded with two hands the user can, at the cost of a move, swing the axe to inflict 80 damage.

Intrinsic Traits:

Sanguine Affinity (I-III): Fortifies the user’s vitality, enhancing their health by an additional 20/40/60 points. (II)
Roiling Blood (I-III): The intensity of battle augments the user’s power. Increases all damage by 10/15/20% of Health Points missing from biography’s maximum Health, up to a maximum of 40. (II)
Fortified Anatomy (I-III): Enhanced physical durability confers the user a passive damage reduction to physical-based techniques. Reduces physical damage taken by 10/20/30 points. (II)

Exsanguination (I-II): Exsanguination is a devastating ability that combines the power of Roiling Blood with the user’s own overwhelming life force, augmented by the Sanguine Maw. The ability manifests on the Maw as blood, a physical representation of the user’s own lost health. When unleashed it forms a crescent blood wave, launched at the speed of twice an S-Rank Water Release technique and neutral to all techniques it clashes with. It has a long-range reach. The damage it inflicts is correlated to 125%/150% of Health Points currently missing. Tier II Exsanguination passively affords the user a 50% reduction to all effects of Health Fatigue. This passive is not active when Exsanguination is on cooldown. Can be used twice per battle, once every ten turns. (I)

Blood Brawler
A warrior born in blood and battle. Alters the appearance of Sanguine Maw into that of a one-handed axe, allowing its swings to be performed with a single hand.

Sanguinary (B-Rank, active): A skill that enhances the benefit conferred by Fortified Anatomy, exchanging its passive benefit for a significantly increased physical damage reduction. The drawback is that it increases the damage intake of Spiritual-based techniques by 50%. This ability lasts for three turns and reduces physical damage by 30/50/80. Can be used twice per battle, once every three turns. While on cooldown the effects of Fortified Anatomy remain inert.
Bloodied Veteran (A-Rank, passive): Passively strengthens Roiling Blood, increasing its damage enhancement to 30/40/50% of the user’s missing Health Points in exchange for it only being applied to Taijutsu and Bukijutsu. Cannot be applied to elemental Taijutsu.
Reborn in Blood (S-Rank, passive): When the user’s Health Points fall to zero they will passively gain a single point of health back, allowing them to continue fighting. Can be activated once per arc.
Tunnel Vision (S-Rank, active): For a moment the user is able to ignore the effects of Health Fatigue and pain entirely, becoming an unrelenting scourge. This technique lasts for two turns or until an enemy is not within short-range of the user. Can be activated twice per battle.
Blood Render (F-Rank, active): Converts Exsanguination into a devastating close-quarters ability. The technique remains the same with the exception of the blood forming on the axe and remaining on it, unleashed in short-range in a massive explosion of blood. Increases damage done to 175%/250% of the user’s missing Health Points.
(Tsukamu No Goddoītā) – Grasps of the God Eater
Type: Weapon
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A
Damage: 80
Description: Grasps of the God Eater is a weapon created by Kōtetsu and the master blacksmith of the Inuzuka clan. Forged from the bones of the Guardian of the Forest who was driven mad by the Red Fever, the gauntlets sport several sharp edges, covering the user's hands up to their elbow. The weapon is interlaced with black metal to give it an extravagant design with contrasting black and white colors and is adorned with numerous small runes engraved across it through the use of Fuuinjutsu. This weapon has unique abilities related to the fields used to forge it.

Sunchaser: The user’s hand-related Taijutsu techniques passively gain a damage increase of +20 due to the infusion of Yang Energy granting the weapon increased durability and strength. The weapon can also be used to perform physical attacks, which deal 80 base damage at the cost of a move per turn. When used to attack this weapon does not benefit from the passive damage boost.

Solstice: Classified as an ego weapon due to its limited sentience gained due to the infusion of Yang energy during the forging process, the gauntlets passively drain -50 Yang chakra from the user that seeps into targets struck by them. This causes an imbalance in their chakra network that forces the target to spend 2x the amount of chakra required for their techniques for the next three turns. This does not increase the quantity of chakra in a technique, but simply a strain on the target's reserve. Appropriate surges or chakra infusions can remove the debilitating effects of this ability.

Unravel: An incredibly useful ability activated at the cost of 70 chakra and a move per turn, the numerous runes on the gauntlets begin to illuminate with a faint crimson glow, allowing the weapon to destroy techniques just before physical contact is made by absorbing the properties of the technique and unraveling the chakra or energy that composes it. This empowers the gauntlets with the properties of the absorbed technique and allows them to take on the damage value of the absorbed technique without harming the user. The properties of techniques refer to their auxiliary effects that cause harm, such as causing the gauntlets to become heated. This lasts for two turns, after which the runes lose their luster and become dormant. This ability can be used twice per battle and requires a three-turn cooldown after the effects expire. Additionally, no Fuuinjutsu above A-rank can be used during the same duration.

Notes:
- The weapon requires mastery of Yang Release and advanced Fuuinjutsu.
- While Unravel is active, the gauntlets lose their passive +20 damage.
Fenriru No Gimuzuke | Fenrir's Lesser Oblige (Always Active, Reference)
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary/Offensive/Defensive
Range: Short
Chakra: 40 ( -15 per turn )
Damage: N/A
Description: This technique was designed to rectify the weaknesses of managing multiple bodies within Battle. Many Inuzuka found that their Ninkens became easy targets for area of effect Ninjutsu techniques, and often experienced problems with defending from widespread attacks without compromising their Ninkens health or position. As such this technique was developed as a fix for these flaws. This technique allows an Inuzuka to enter into a lasting fusion with their Ninken(s). While fused the Ninken will inhabit the user's body and the user will gain the ability to use techniques that require 'Four-Legged Beast' transformation as a prerequisite and will also gain the senses of their Ninken. The Ninken(s) will be aware of the world through the user's senses however their mind and chakra systems will remain separate. The Inuzuka however will still be capable of tapping into their Ninken's chakra supply and will be capable of using it to bolster their own supply for future techniques. Lastly, fused Ninken can demerge from their host body at any point in time, and can also choose to re-emerge without cost. Merging and de-merging however is not instant, instead, it simply functions as a Ninken or Inuzuka walking outside of the host's body - and as such is far inferior to the merging abilities of Souma No Kou. One added benefit is that a host can have appendages such as tails or wolf ears that can prove useful in combat but are largely cosmetic, the main host can also be switched at will - housing the user and other Ninken(s) within a Ninken's body instead.

Note:
- Must be posted at either the start of the battle or in the user's biography, and is active at all times.
- In the case of deactivation (On the user's account or as a result of an enemy technique) this technique can be reactivated again at the cost of a move. Each reactivation will require more chakra than the last, doubling each time.
- This technique serves as the ultimate baseline form for Inuzuka clan members. After using another transformation the user is capable of reverting back to this form without completely canceling the previous transformation, instead, they retain the physiological benefits of the other transformation (Such as increased sensing and other abilities) and are also capable of re-entering the previously activated transformation without cost as it is still considered active. (Does not distort or ignore turn restrictions)
(Yōton/Fuuinjutsu: Kokū no Zantō - Sorarisu) Yang Release/Sealing Art: Remnants of the Void - Solaris
(Yōton/Fuuinjutsu: Kokū no Zantō - Sorarisu) Yang Release/Sealing Art: Remnants of the Void - Solaris
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra: 80 (-10 per turn)
Damage: N/A
Description: Solaris is a unique Advanced Fuuinjutsu seal placed on the body that incorporates Yang chakra. This seal works by passively siphoning Yang chakra from the user’s body and storing it, with the seal being capable of storing up to 80 chakra in total. Making use of the body’s condition as a trigger this seal will activate whenever the user falls unconscious as a result of an enemy technique. Upon activation it floods the user’s body with the previously stored chakra, purging any invading chakra and healing the body by the amount of chakra stored within the seal and essentially “breathing life” back into the user, allowing them to regain consciousness as the invading chakra is flushed from their system. In addition to resuscitation, the user’s constitution will be temporarily boosted for the following two turns due to the abundant Yang chakra, making them immune to Spiritual techniques with less chakra than that stored in the seal. While this energy heals physical wounds, it does nothing to mitigate the damage done to the spirit, meaning that if the user’s health is depleted through damage done spiritually, this technique will not resuscitate them. Due to the overwhelming amount of Yang energy present within the body, the user will be unable to make use of Yin release, other Spiritual techniques, or elemental techniques for the following two turns. Their speed is also reduced by -3 levels, and they are unable to use techniques above A-rank for the same duration.

Notes:
- This technique must be placed on the user’s biography.
- This technique can only be used once per battle, with the seal’s activation counting as a move.
- Upon resuscitation, this technique will heal the user up to the amount of chakra stored in the seal, though it cannot recover HP lost from spiritual damage

“To be stronger than anyone else, that’s why I fight“
B a s i c ▽ I n f o r m a t i o n

Name: Yōo Kurogane
Nickname: Black Dragon of the East | Horned Monarch of Destruction
Gender: Male
Age: 30
Clan: N/A
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

▽ A p p e a r a n c e ▽

Kurogane is a tall, broad-shouldered, slender yet muscular man who bears a striking resemblance to his father with his spiky black hair and crimson eyes that give off an intense gaze. His attire usually consists of a black sleeveless lightweight steel-plated chest piece with red accents, black trousers, segmented plate-armor that covers his left shoulder, bracers, shin guards, and a crimson head guard, all of which are engraved with the Crescent Moon Kingdom’s insignia. He also wears two belts that form an 'X' around his waist, with two holsters hanging from each side to hold his weapons. Over all of this, he wears a billowing, high-collared black cloak with red strings and a large rope bow.

▽ P e r s o n a l i t y ▽

Kurogane is serious and extremely perceptive, able to quickly discern others’ fighting capabilities. He speaks his mind freely, is extremely straightforward, incredibly loyal, and compassionate to the few people he trusts, while being cold and ruthless to those he considers his enemies. He is easily irked by others, especially those who call him silly nicknames. After being forcefully removed from the Crescent Moon Kingdom by Princess Tomoyo, he has become more aggressive. Like most samurai, Kurogane bears a general dislike for most shinobi, especially since they were responsible for the death of his mother.

Kurogane’s Kenjutsu is enhanced to the point that his strikes against Ninjutsu have added force, allowing him to pierce through solid objects with 20 less damage needed than normal, not counting as a debuff or buff. This does not include Ninkenjutsu or enhanced Kenjutsu via Ronin Kenjutsu, Samurai techniques, Dokkodo, or other non-Raw Chakra-enhanced Kenjutsu.

Yang Specialist

Kurogane came to master the manipulation of Yang energy during his time wandering the Warring States. His mastery of it affords him enhanced vitality, bolstering his natural chakra reserves by 800, and his strengthened durability renders him immune to recoil damage from his own techniques. He is capable of utilizing Yang State.

Dokkodo Mastery

As a practitioner of the Alone Way, Kurogane walks the path of Energy Mastery. This means he specializes in gathering, converting, and employing Senjutsu in battle.

Kenjutsu Specialist

As a master of the sword arts, Kurogane’s strikes are capable of creating thin blades of chakra that extend up to mid-range, increasing the range of any non-Iaido or non-projectile Kenjutsu technique.

Apex Tracker Specialist

With senses heightened through vigorous training that resulted in a x2.5 increase, Kurogane is capable of physically tracking faster movement in his movement tracking capabilities.

Ascension of the Dragon

Kurogane’s constant indulgence in Yakuzan drugs over the years has begun to take a toll on his body. He has become resistant to their side effects, allowing him to ignore the drawbacks of taking up to 2 Pills.

B a c k g r o u n d ▽ I n f o r m a t i o n

Born in 787 to the rightful Lord of the Suwa region in the Iron Peninsula and a Priestess of the Crescent Moon Kingdom, Kurogane's life was troubled before it even began. His father, a prominent member of the Yakuza clan who originally hailed from the Koga region and was well known for his adept skills in weaponry, had been banished for falling in love with and siring a child with a Priestess of the kingdom. The two moved to a crescent-shaped island kingdom shortly after their son was born and settled down in the province of Nihon, which the Lord came to rule over and the Priestess protected with his unique barrier-making ability. Kurogane was energetic in his youth who strived to never disappoint his mother and wanted to be just like his father, whose adept weaponry skills he had inherited.

As he grew, the boy's dream was to become a powerful warrior and protect the people of Nihon like his parents, who encouraged and supported his efforts. His father would privately teach him the ways of the Yakuza clan, regularly feeding his son pills, concoctions, and mysterious potions that tempered his body and enhanced his abilities. It was painful, yes, but the boy endured. His father would also teach him the way of the samurai, and train him intensely in the ways of Iaido and Battōjutsu. His mother, on the other hand, trained him in the art of taijutsu and various other styles of fighting, and also taught him the importance of strategy, how to use his head, and how to keep calm during the heat of battle. He had such a thirst for the art of warfare that he would even secretly take Ginryū, his family's heirloom, and practice with it intensely.

His life continued like this for some time, and it wasn't until he became a teenager that trouble began. His mother had contracted a strange disease and would often cough up blood and collapse, and Kurogane would strain himself to make her comfortable. During this time his father was also absent regularly, as he was spending his time fighting off invaders from across the sea. When he did return, he was seriously injured and his weapon in shards. He had met a strong shinobi and needed more power, and as such he decided to take Ginryū to the battlefield, but not before receiving his wife's blessing, leaving his son to protect his mother after telling him that he should always use his strength to protect the ones he loves.

Sometime after his father had left, Kurogane's mother collapsed once again, but even though her condition was critical she insisted on being taken to the family sanctuary in order to pray for success against the shinobi invaders and strengthen the barrier surrounding Nihon. As she prayed a void suddenly opened in the space before her and a sword was thrust out, piercing her through the chest. Kurogane, who had not yet come of age and as such wasn't allowed to enter the sanctuary, was startled by his mother's scream. He disregarded the rules and broke into the sanctuary, only to find his mother impaled by a large sword with a peculiar bat-like carving for its hilt that had seemingly appeared out of a void and disappeared before Kurogane could react. He ran to his mother as she slumped to the floor, whispering comforting words and placing pressure on her chest as she gasped for air.

Despite his efforts, he could not stem the blood flow and she died in his arms, and at the moment of her death, the barrier protecting their province broke and the invading swarmed through the area. One of them approached Kurogane carrying his father's severed arm, the hand still carrying one of Ginryū’s blades in its death-grip. As the shinobi discarded the arm, the katana fell to the ground. Kurogane's resolve broke and, in fierce rage, he took up his father's sword and charged towards the repulsive shinobi demons. Hours later, the Empress of the Crescent Moon Kingdom arrived with her army of samurai. With the barrier broken she deduced that the Priestess had died, and the invaders swarmed the province as predicted in the dreams of her younger sister, the Priestess Princess Tsukuyomi.

Surprisingly, they came to find that all the invaders had been killed and discovered Kurogane in the ruins of his home. As the Empress approached the boy, who was too shocked to fully comprehend all that had happened and was still carrying his mother's body, he attempted to attack her. She ordered her samurai to attack but soon realized that Kurogane had lost his sanity and would do more harm than good when he killed all her warriors with ease. She decided to personally subdue him but was interrupted by her younger sister who volunteered to do it. She would make herself a target for him, and as he lunged toward her she used the same barrier-type ability as his mother to force him into the ground and immobilize him.

Once he was subdued she knelt beside him and whispered, "Let's let your mother sleep, shall we?" as she closed the dead Priestess's eyes. At those simple words, she managed to snap Kurogane out of his madness. Realization swept over him and he broke down in tears, and finally, exhausted, he fell asleep. When he woke up, he found himself cleaned and his hand in bandages. Beside him sat the Princess, carrying Ginryū in her lap. She explained that he was in Shirasagi Castle, and introduced herself as Princess Tomoyo. With nowhere to go, he was assigned small duties within the castle while he recuperated, and eventually came to serve the Princess and Shirasagi Castle.

Kurogane's strength grew by leaps and bounds over the next few years until eventually, he became the strongest warrior in the Kingdom. The trauma of losing his parents made him merciless against his enemies, even going as far as constantly disobeying Tomoyo's orders not to kill the shinobi assassins that frequently infiltrated the castle in order to take her life. Tomoyo had come to recognize his strength but felt that it would one day take him down a dark path from which he might never return. As such, she came up with a plan. One night she summoned him to the throne room, where she had sent up a barrier technique that restrained him once he entered.

Princess Tomoyo explained that since there was none in the kingdom as strong as he, she would send him on a journey where he would hopefully discover the meaning of true strength. See, while the barrier she had placed could restrain him, its primary ability was to transport things great distances. As Kurogane sunk into the earth, Tomoyo placed two seals on his body. The first would reduce his strength each time he needlessly took a life, and the second would prevent him from returning to the kingdom for a set period of time. As he sunk into the seal, Kurogane swore that he'd never forgive her, and would always remember what she had done. The floor rippled before returning to normal, and quiet fell upon the castle.

To be continued….

O t h e r ▽ I n f o r m a t i o n

Samurai Heritage: As a samurai, Kurogane is capable of utilizing chakra by channeling it through his sword, which allows him to extend the reach of his blade and release projectiles by swinging or thrusting it. He is also able to use shape manipulation to sculpt his chakra blades into various rudimentary weapons, and can also utilize elemental techniques that require the use of a sword. Kurogane's weapon can greatly enhance the power of his sword techniques due to a ritual that had been performed on them.

He is also proficient with Iaidō, which, due to the extremely quick drawing and re-sheathing of his sword, makes ninjutsu nearly impossible to use by disrupting the handseals of his opponents within range. Due to his extensive training in the field, he has unlocked the ability to evade incoming techniques and simultaneously execute any Iaidō technique in his arsenal by fueling more chakra into his movements during the quick draw ritual.

(Ani) Brother (Passive)
Type: Supplementary
Rank: N/A
Range: N/A
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: Keotsu's legendary blade Mythos has been with him through trials and tribulations of all sorts; and in turn, Keotsu has used his strength to help his friends through their own challenges. The strength Keotsu could offer was always limited, though, as so many of his teachings were made with his own blade in mind. This technique allows others to use Mythos, when they normally could not. Because Mythos is tied to Keotsu's soul, he will perform a small ritual with one that Keotsu is incredibly close to: Keotsu will place Mythos in its entirety atop one of his brothers-in-arms' weapons, and coat it in an incredibly thin layer of the Mythril that Mythos is made of. In this action, Keotsu accepts this person into his soul, marking them as someone of great importance to him. This imparts the weapon with all the abilities of Mythos, except for the ability to change shape, the original ability that Mythos possessed in its form of "Mikomi", long, long ago.
*Note: Cannot be used in battle. The purpose of this technique is to allow others to be able to use Mythos.
*Note: True to the blade, if a piece of Mythos is ever used against Keotsu, this technique will "deactivate", and that person will be as if they could not have used Mythos in the first place.
*Note: Those who Keotsu teaches "Brother" will be able to use (Ten'notsurugi: Mythos, Jinsei no Sāberu) Astrum Sword: Mythos, Vita Saber with all of its abilities, except the ability to change shape.
*Note: Ani-infused weapons do not have to be summoned into battle, and can be carried into battle like a traditional Custom Weapon so long as the user's bio states they carry an Ani-Infused weapon.

(Iaidō: Zen no Idō) - Art of Quick Draw and Re-sheathing the Sword: Moving Zen (Passive)
Rank: N/A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A (-10 for each iaijutsu performed)
Damage: N/A
Description: Over the years, Samurai had often practiced Iaidō based on the understanding that it is an almost ritualistic form of combat, born from practices that strive to impart the morals of a classical warrior such as building a spiritually harmonious being possessed of high intellect, sensitivity, and resolute will. While this is correct, the root teachings of the art were lost over time; in truth, the purpose of Iai is founded on the principle of being in the psychological state of the present and responding to an attack before striking with speed. Thus, Zen no Idō reintroduces this concept into modern day Iaidoka. This is a skill that is taught to masters of the art who have completed all forms of Iai training and who have maximized their reflexes in regards to drawing and re-sheathing the sword. In essence, after training to increase their proficiency in applying rapid and sudden movements while performing iaijutsu, it allows the Iaidoka to inherently evade incoming techniques within reason while simultaneously executing any Iaidō techniques they use. By fueling more chakra into their movements during the ritual of Iaidō, they can move in any direction at a slightly increased speed (x2, equal to that of Leg Weight speed) prior to or during the use of Iaidō. The limitations are that they may only use this speed to travel in any direction within five meters of their original position, and once the Iaidō technique is complete or stopped, Zen no Idō immediately ceases.
Restrictions:
Note: Must be posted in the samurai's biography.
Note: No other techniques besides those revolving around Iai can be used while Zen no Idō is active.
Note: This is a passive trait that automatically activates prior to or during the execution of any Iaidō based technique; reserved only for those who hold true mastery over the art (must state Iaidō as a specialization in one's biography), once learned, Zen no Idō comes naturally and without thought, in a manner akin to the Shinobi's Water Walking skill.

Weaponry: Ginryū: "Silver Dragons". Originally crafted by a master swordsmith for his father’s use, this pair of Katana and Wakizashi is now permanently mounted on opposite sides of Kurogane's waist. Forged from pure Hangurian ore, the gleaming silver blades are coated with a thin layer of Mythril, and have golden circular tsuba, with hilts designed to resemble scales of a dragon. The end caps of both weapons are fashioned after a golden dragon head.

Kurogane also wears added weights around his legs that serve to enhance his running speed when removed.

(Ten'notsurugi: Mythos, Jinsei no Sāberu) Astrum Sword: Mythos, Vita Saber (Reference)
Rank: N/A
Type: Weapon
Range: N/A
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage: +20 to Kenjutsu and Command Arts
Description: "The Blade of Heaven...Mythos the Life Sabre. One of the Ten Shinning Weapons." When Keotsu returned to the known continent from his journey to regions unknown, he returned with his blade Mythos in a new form; some secret event took place which reconfigured the blade and created a powerful connection between Keotsu and the sword. The Mythril blade retained its ability to change it's shape, but not it's mass when subjected to Keotsu's chakras, as did the scabbard of the weapon, though the two were no longer explicitly linked. A few improvements were noted by Keotsu, though: the blade seemed to resonate better than before, boosting his powers in battle: offensive Kenjutsu techniques and Command Arts have their power increased by +20, and defensive and supplementary Kenjutsu and Command Arts are increased in their effectiveness by +20 (that is, a defensive technique that is A-rank (60 damage) would be capable of now defending from an S-rank (80 damage) ; second, the blade came to reject energies that were foreign to Keotsu - that's to say, for example, if an enemy tried to use Nagashi after grabbing the blade, the energy would stop completely due to the nature of the blade's composition. This particular power comes about from the blade's new found synergy with Keotsu, in an effort to prevent it from being used against him. Retaining all the properties of the metal it was forged from, Mythos is indestructible and will never dull, in any of its forms.*The user can manipulate the blade’s form during battle at any time, but it costs 35 chakra to do so, and also counts towards one of that turn’s three allotted moves.
*Can only be wielded by Keotsu. When someone else tries to hold the blade, it will reject their chakra and increase its density exponentially, making it to heavy to be lifted. However, it reverts to its original density when Keotsu is holding it.
*While the sword can transform into different types of weapons, like a katana or spear, it is bound by its mass, meaning that the form it takes on has to be within the realms of creating from the same amount of matter.
*While Mythos is in hand, Keotsu is unable to cast Genjutsu at all.

(Katai Omori) Leg Weights
Type: Weapon/Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A (+20 to Kicks, 2x Running Speed)
Description: The Leg Weights used for Special Taijutsu Training with Added Weights are made through the application of a sealing formula to ordinary leg weights. The sealing formula is used to, through the use of chakra, increase the weight of the leg weights to the desired level. The seal can't be applied to anything other than the leg weights and its use is restricted to its original purpose. One can remove the leg weights but the sealing technique in them stays active indefinitely and can't be released. Additionally, the Leg Weights and their unique seal calibration makes them only usable by the ninja to whom they belong. They can't be sealed or stolen.

Infinite One-Sword Style: Kurogane is a practitioner of the IOSS, which usually requires a unique case that holds a multitude of blades, but its size makes it difficult to travel with. He combated this problem by having the case sealed within a small, specialized scroll that he keeps strapped to the back of his waist beneath his cloak. By simply opening the scroll, the case will appear, or he can throw the scroll skyward to release the weapons directly.

(Mugen Ittōryū) Infinite One-Sword Style
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: N/A (40)
Damage: N/A
Description: The user will throw into the air a large container of katana that are wrapped in some sort of cloth or wire in order to bind them for easy travel – while in the air, a seemingly endless number of katana will slide from their casing and scatter all across the battlefield to supply the user with swords to fight with no matter where they are; conversely, the swords can be summoned from scrolls in the same manner as Tenten’s weapons. This technique was created with the belief that a swordsman didn’t need a perfect sword, but rather, the ability to wield any sword with great skill. Each sword has a mechanism built into their hilt that allows only those who know how to use this technique to wield the swords. If someone with no knowledge of how to use this technique attempts to wield one of these blades, needles will extended from the hilt, much like how Samehada does. Due to this, the Infinite One-Sword Style not only assists the swordsman and his allies in battle, but also puts an extreme amount of psychological pressure on the opponent, due to the sheer number of blades.
*Can only be used once per battle.
*If the swords are carried into battle with a case, the chakra cost for this technique is zero however the user is limited to only 10 swords. If the scroll summoning variant is used, the chakra cost applies as normal.
*Only users of this technique may wield the swords.

Name: Kōtetsu
Official Title: The King of Beasts
Gender: Male
Age: 30
Clan: Inuzuka
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Appearance & Personality

Following his subsequent deaths during his incursion into the underworld at the hands of both the Burial King Falnir and the Voidlord Phetra, Kōtetsu underwent rigorous physical conditioning to ensure he would no longer fall in battle. Gone is the mysterious aura that surrounded him, and in its place is now a domineering presence that intimidates and strikes fear into those in his vicinity. Standing at six feet, three inches tall, he is a huge, muscular man with tan skin and canine-like features befitting one of the Inuzuka clan, whose crimson fang tattoos he bears proudly on his cheeks. Coupled with his long, wild, unkempt black hair and fang-like teeth, his amber eyes give off a sharp and intense gaze. His nails, akin to razors in sharpness, protrude slightly beyond his fingertips, and etched into the back of his right hand is a black tribal tattoo of a wolf's head, the seal in which his relic weapon is stored.

His regular attire, masterfully woven from the pelt and bones of the Guardian of the Forest, who was driven mad by the Red Fever, consists of a tan fur pelt draped over his shoulders, held in place by ivory bones, and a gold-trimmed white armor on his right shoulder. He dons the Grasps of the God Eater, a pair of gauntlets on his arms, while his shins are covered by fur and bones fashioned to form bracers. Around his waist, he wears a ragged, khaki-colored skirt with a thick, silver-fur waistline and another piece of gold-trimmed, white armor.

Kōtetsu's perception of others was already skewed during his childhood, when he came to realize just how far others would go to further their own interests. The constant corruption, numerous betrayals, and incompetent leadership he witnessed in the Freehold before the Razing of Chungsu resulted in a severe lack of trust in those not of his clan and hostility toward strangers as a means to protect himself. Having experienced two violent deaths and being resurrected in Irkalla, losing Sif to the Scarlet Rot, and being absent from Zhouhua as his people faced annihilation during the Cataclysm, the Inuzuka has spent the last two years in a state of melancholy as he came to terms with his new reality. Though his aggressive nature has been lessened due to the time spent with his master, Isara, and the other Monks of the Human Order, Kōtetsu is still fiercely protective and compassionate of the few who managed to earn his trust. His love of nature, the beasts that dwell within it, and the delicate balance between life and death are qualities of his that have allowed him to assimilate with the Fang Clan of Annwyn seamlessly.

Strong Fist

Kōtetsu is a master of the Strong Fist style of fighting, and as a result, his pure Taijutsu attacks have a strength to Elemental Ninjutsu. Unfortunately, this strength does not extend to his Nintaijutsu, or Taijutsu enhanced via Gates, 7HB, CES, or other States. In the event that his taijutsu completely destroys an elemental technique, he doesn’t suffer any effects, such as burns or cuts from energy-based Ninjutsu.

Yang Specialist

To further enhance his physical-centric fighting style, Kōtetsu came to master Yang Release during his time in Irkalla’s harsh environment. His mastery of this energy affords him enhanced vitality, bolstering his natural chakra reserves by 800, and his strengthened durability renders him immune to recoil damage from his own techniques. As a master of Yin-Yang Release, Kōtetsu is capable of using Yin or Yang states interchangeably, but prefers to use the Yang State exclusively.

The Human Principle

After attaining the level of Master of the Atavistic Flame while residing in Kamiyasumi for almost two years, Kōtetsu developed the innate ability to become empowered by the “unconscious” collective Will of Mankind in critical moments that would see him falter. When his Health Points fall to 25% of their maximum (60), he can passively activate the highest level of Will to Survive.

Apex Speed Resistance

Kōtetsu's body exerts an overwhelming and oppressive force that naturally slows those within a specific range. This causes a 2 Base Speed level decrease to opponents that are within 8 meters of him.

Apex Genjutsu Defense Specialist

To address his weakness to illusions, Kōtetsu trained to develop immunity to genjutsu. As a result, he is now immune to basic illusions of A rank and lower. In addition to this, his ability to counter stronger genjutsu has increased and requires 10 damage less than normal to break from.

Inuzuka Mastery

With their fates intertwined, Kōtetsu and his ninken are practically inseparable. Together, they have developed the Inuzuka clan's unique collaboration and taijutsu techniques to their absolute peak, and his dedication to mastering his clan's ability has allowed him to unlock a new path known as Ferocity of Uridimmu. This has given him access to unique ninken and techniques.

Background Information

Born deep within Zhouhua’s forest region in the year 787, Kōtetsu’s cries echoed throughout the ancestral homeland of his people. His parents, Sýr Inuzuka, the current head of the Inuzuka Clan, and Izuri Inuzuka, a warrior who originally hailed from the Badlands of Earth, already feared for the future their child would have to face. You see, over 200 years before Kōtetsu’s birth, the Inuzuka clan had split into two factions. The first faction consisted of the clan members who dwelled in Zhouhua, while the other faction had left the forest and found a place for themselves in The Freehold of Hanguri. This group rose in status until eventually, in 552, Sai Inuzuka was elected as the 29th Daijō-daijin.

Due to this precedent, the Hanguri faction began to gather gifted children in Chungsu. They educated them, trained them in various fields, and nurtured them into skilled leaders, whether it be in politics, business, or the military, all in the hope of one day producing another Daijō-daijin. Over the years, it became a sort of tradition for the Inuzuka clan members to send their firstborn child to Chungsu, and now it was Kōtetsu’s turn to make the journey. Shortly after his third birthday, he was brought to the capital of the Freehold of Hanguri, where his affinity for steel release was discovered. It was also here that he met his lifelong friend and swordmaster, Keotsu.

Kōtetsu would spend the next thirteen years going through harsh training in various arts. From medical ninjutsu to kenjutsu, he mastered everything his instructors threw at him. He developed a habit of sneaking out and exploring Chungsu’s nightlife. He became notorious for doing this, and eventually, his nightly strolls were known and anticipated by the merchants and scholars of the city. It was during one of these strolls that Kōtetsu came across a drunk man assaulting a woman. Naturally, he couldn’t sit still and watch. He approached the man and the two began to argue, but seeing no progress, Kōtetsu physically repelled him, causing him to fall and hit his head.

The scene they caused alerted some patrolling soldiers, but instead of being praised for his action, the Inuzuka was instead arrested and imprisoned beneath the man’s mansion. As it turns out, the man he had injured turned out to be an influential and corrupt politician called Shido Masayoshi, who bribed the guard to apprehend Kōtetsu, lock him up in the mansion, and cover up any rumors or traces regarding his disappearance. He was held by Shido for months, slowly being tortured and beaten. It eventually reached the point where the young Inuzuka stopped fighting back and lost hope of ever escaping from that hellish place.

Then one night the earth shook and the mansion walls crumbled, freeing his shackles from the ruined building. Kōtetsu crawled through the rubble until he reached the surface, and he would never forget what he saw that night. He didn’t know it at the time, but what he witnessed was the Kyūbi no Yōko as it razed the capital city. Everything was either on fire or destroyed by the large beast. Kōtetsu began to make his escape, but as he walked through what was left of Shido’s mansion, his ears picked up the sound of crying. He went to investigate, and after moving some pieces of rubble, he came across three small wolf cubs, so young that their eyes had yet to open, curled up around a black sword.

Taking the cubs and sword with him the Inuzuka fled Hanguri and returned to the Land of Fire. With barely any provisions, the journey to his birthplace was more difficult than he expected. After a month of traveling, Kōtetsu finally arrived in Zhouhua, and upon entering the deep forest, he was met by a number of his clansmen. As they surrounded him, a lone woman approached him. Her eyes welled up with tears as she hugged Kōtetsu and whispered, “My name is Sýr, and I am your father”.

Kōtetsu would spend the next few years amongst his clan, getting to know his family and training in the Inuzuka clan’s techniques. During this time, he also went on several adventures throughout the Land of Fire and his mother’s homeland in the Badlands of Earth before eventually stepping into a leadership role for his people.

Other Information

Official Title: King of Beasts - For the King of Inuzuka, Kōtetsu, for his skill and alpha status amongst the wild packs of animals. Unrivaled in his domain, Kōtetsu has truly become the King of Beasts.
  • Earned by winning the Grand Roleplay Tournament.
  • Increases the number of available summonings, pets, or wild beasts the user is able to have at by one.
  • Gains a 20 damage increase to attacks done by summonings or pets, not counting as a boost.
  • Once per fight, able to spend a move to extend his dominion over beasts to an opposing summoning, pet or beast up to S rank and control them for up to 3 turns or prevent them from fighting. Creations not included.

Inuzuka Bloodline: As a member of the Inuzuka Clan Kōtetsu possesses greatly enhanced senses, especially his sense of smell and his sense of hearing. By concentrating chakra to his nose his sense of smell is amplified to an even greater extent, allowing him to detect, track, and monitor targets from up to three landmarks away. He maintains a permanent fusion with his ninken through the use of Fenrir's Lesser Oblige.

Fenriru No Gimuzuke | Fenrir's Lesser Oblige

Ninken: Following the death of Sif, who succumbed to the Scarlet Rot after their battle with the Bašmu, the King of Beasts added two new ninken to his pack. Speki and Svanna are Beasts of Legend discovered in the Outer Lands that stand at five feet tall with black fur and piercing amber eyes. His older Ninken, Sirris and Solaire, are High Breeds, standing at six feet in height, with red markings covering their erratically growing fur. Each of them wears colored bracers on each leg that match their fur, which, when twisted in a certain manner, can momentarily release a short blade three inches in length from within. As a result of the selective breeding and genetic manipulation used to create them, Sirris and Solaire have experienced genetic mutations. Sirris' genetic mutation resulted in her being born with three tails that she can control separately, while Solaire's less pronounced mutation comes in the form of heterochromia, a mutation that resulted in one of his eyes being crimson and the other an amber-like color. While all four are capable of human speech, only Sirris and Solaire have a mental link with Kōtetsu.

Beasts of Legend
This is a passive technique describing a specific type of Ninken, replacing the user’s generic breed. It does not entail manipulation. Through medical techniques these Ninken are much more inclined to anger, being genetically modified to be stronger, more durable, and inclined to enter rampage. The Beasts of Legend are able to consume medical pills, enhancing their physical abilities externally. They move at 16 speed, and track at x2. Beasts of Legend have 160 Health Points and can heal for 15 points of damage each turn passively. Their attacks inherit the damage boost afforded to the user by Heart of the Pack (Adept). Only two of the user’s three Ninken can be Beasts of Legend.
Haiburīdo | The High Breed
Type: Supplementary
Rank: N/A
Range: N/A
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage Points: N/A
Description: After decades of research and selective breeding, the High Breed was born. The High Breed was bred to be genetically superior to all other Ninkens immediately displayed talents that completely overshadowed that of lesser breeds from a young age. High Breeds are born with a more robust constitution, resulting in them being larger, stronger and have a base speed of 13, faster than most other breeds as well as having a passive 20 damage increase to their techniques. They also look far more wolf-like as a result of their wolf-rich bloodline. High Breeds display savage intellect, and are capable of exercising great cunning and problem-solving abilities; and as a result of their advanced intellect, they have gained the ability of articulation. Other talents include a healing factor allowing them to heal just as well as 15 damage per turn, heightened smell based senses on par with 3T and extends up to 1 landmark away. However High Breed's have been known to reject their Inuzuka counterparts, entering into a faux relationship for a time, and then turning on their paired Inuzuka the moment they have grown large enough to kill their ill-suited partners. As a result, the High Breed was kept secret and many voted for their extermination, but in the end, they were merely banished into the woods of Konohagakure, kept alive in case the clan should have a need for them in the future. However, should a High Breed fully accept an Inuzuka a most curious phenomenon will occur in which both the High Breed and Inuzuka will become mentally linked, capable of sharing thoughts, feelings, and experiences with each other, with such a deeply intimate bond being the absolute apex of an Inuzuka and Ninken bond. (A high breed cannot use Ninjutsu or elemental Taijutsu (Aside from Inuzuka techniques of course) by default).

Note:
- Must either be posted in the user's bio (Along with an explanation of how they met a High Breed and a description of their High Breed) or posted at the start of a battle. (In which case their High Breed by default will simply look like a wolf that, for it's age, is up to twice larger than any known Ninken.)

Berserker: Kōtetsu's physical prowess in close-ranged combat is virtually unmatched due to his natural affinity for both the body and weapon arts. His ability to utilize Chakra Enhanced Strength and its related techniques only bolsters his power.

Runic Inscriptions: Kōtetsu is well-versed in the sealing arts, granting him access to several unique techniques that require fine chakra control. The first seal is etched into his gauntlets and serves to both bind them to his hands and allow them to release streamed or projectile techniques. They also hold a second seal that holds enhancements granted to the weapons. The last seal in his possession serves to resuscitate him in the event he falls unconscious by flooding his body with Yang energy to heal his physical wounds and is inscribed over his right pectoral.

( Fuuinjutsu: Hecate's Nekutai ) - Sealing Arts: Hecate's Binding
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15 ( -5 each turn )
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user forms a Fuuinjutsu that is simple in nature yet advanced in it's applications. Channeling chakra, the user creates a seal that is applied to a weapon of the user's choice. The purpose of this seal is to extend the user's chakra manipulation through an instrument of his choosing. This allows the user to release Jutsu from this instrument or item of choice as long as it's in the form of a streamed jutsu, like Great Majestic Annihilation or a projectile like Water Bullet. A one time use seal, this can be applied either in battle or pre applied before battle by placing in the user's bio. After applied, lasts until the user cancels it. In order for this to work, the weapon has to be in contact with the user's body or said jutsu will be released from their original point of release.
Note: Can only be used on weapons the user owns.
Note: This seal also binds the weapon to the user, meaning it can't be lost unless the user himself throws it away.
(Fuuinjutsu: Baundoenchanto) - Sealing Arts: Bound Enchantment
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra: 15 (-5 per turn)
Damage: N/A
Description: This seal may only be used on weapons that are in contact with the user. This seal may also be passively applied to the user's weapons or formed onto a weapon the user is holding by expending a move. Only activated when the user is utilizing a jutsu to enhance or otherwise affect said weapon, this seal (which is marked with the kanji for "bind") will activate and drain chakra from the user to fuel said jutsu, even when the user uses another jutsu. It will permanently (or for as long as the user chooses to keep paying chakra) bind the enhancement to the weapon by doing so, as it is constantly being fueled. Each turn the weapon will be able to be used as if the enhancement that was made on it was newly activated, so that they may block and attack with the weapon it was used on without breaking the freeform dodging/blocking rules.
- Only one of these seals may be active at a time on a single weapon
- Only works on weapons

- Upon resuscitation, this technique will heal the user up to the amount of chakra stored in the seal, though it cannot recover HP lost from spiritual damage.

Sage Weapon: After a test of his might that began by uncovering rumors of a group of ancient creatures similar to the tailed beasts that ultimately led to the discovery of the Beasts of Tiamat, the culmination of Kōtetsu’s journey saw him partake in an arduous battle in the Kaizoku Sea against the Bašmu, Beast of Rot. Though ultimately ending in his victory, the Inuzuka and his ninken were inflicted with the Scarlet Rot and forced to seek out the Divine Physician Iskandrous, who discovered and removed a malignant growth that had formed in his abdomen, almost appearing as an additional rib that was later named Kemono Kiba, the Beast Fang.

Appearing ivory and smooth with a pointed tip and no edges, the less-than-a-foot-long Fang is seamlessly incorporated into the Inuzuka's gauntlets. Passively, the Fang appears to enhance Kōtetsu’s base nature, enhancing his Inuzuka clan techniques, Taijutsu, and Kenjutsu, depending on the state he is merged with his Ninken, and also allows his Taijutsu-based Inuzuka techniques to inflict the Curse of the Scarlet Rot on contact.

Custom Weapon: Crafted by Kōtetsu and the master blacksmith of the Inuzuka clan before their destruction, Grasps of the God Eater is a pair of gauntlets forged from the ivory bones of the Guardian of the Forest, who was driven mad by the Red Fever. The gauntlets feature several sharp edges, covering the user's hands up to their elbows, and are interlaced with black metal to create an extravagant design with contrasting black and white colors. It is also adorned with numerous small runes engraved across it.

In addition to the gauntlets, Kōtetsu carries five FTG-marked Kunai strapped to his thigh and is also in possession of , a two-handed and double-edged axe crafted from Tiamat’s ivory bones that are kept stored in a seal etched into the back of his right hand. A more recent addition to his assortment of weapons is a crooked, malformed mace forged anew by the Voidlord Basel and later imbued with the Atavistic flame by the blacksmith Durmaz Bakir.

(Kamijūkorosu: Mēsu) – Beast & God Slayer: Mace
Type: God-Slaying Artifact
Rank: C-Rank
Range: N/A
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: A crooked, malformed blunt force weapon forged anew by the Voidlord Basel. Once a refined construct of simple tastes, the head is now a crystalline mass of spikes and thorns, it's appearance alone instilling fear, like a wild mountain range. Additionally, the spikes run down the weapon's shaft all the way to the handle, further increasing the weapon's twisted appearance, causing it to pierce and shred it's target, as though it were intentionally designed to achieve such an outcome. This weapon was forged for Kōtetsu Inuzuka and is intrinsically tied to their soul. Because it was once a product of certain Atavistic techniques, it possesses anti-Divinity properties, and is able to pierce the defenses afforded to Divine enemies in the Ninja World. This does not confer a God-Slaying Tool the ability to defeat properties of Anutu or its sub-components; it is specifically targeted against Divine enemies in the Ninja World and the Divinity that they possess. Additionally, thanks to Basel's influence, and a series of runes carved into the mace's head, it also carries additional properties, designed to allow the Akatsuki to hunt even the most powerful of Tailed Beasts. With proper focusing and enhancements perhaps this weapon can become even stronger.

Warrior: are a team's key close-range damage dealers. Their weapons are outfitted for raw offense. They are not particularly well suited to support roles.
Hell-forged Combatant (Passive): A Warrior gains an increase of 30 damage to all of their Taijutsu and Bukijutsu used through their God-Slaying Tool. Additionally, their Atavistic Flame is increased by the same amount.
Devastator (Passive): A Warrior's Taijutsu and Bukijutsu strikes have a 10% chance to strike a Divine target critically.
Master of War (Active): At the cost of a move and a slot in the timeframe the user is able to punch through any Divine technique regardless of its nature and neutralize it, taking no damage whatsoever. Usable once per battle.

Items: Kōtetsu carries several kinds of items on his person, one of which is iron-clad weights worn on the legs that serve to limit his speed, reducing his base speed by three levels when worn. When removed, it dramatically enhances his speed and the strength of his leg-based attacks. He also carries medicinal supplies in the form of Soldier pills.

(Katai Omori) Leg Weights
Type: Weapon
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: An advanced version of the normal Leg Weights created for those dedicated to their craft, the Advanced Leg Weights increase the stress and weight applied to the user in order to achieve an even higher payoff. When inactive and worn, the user experiences a -3 Speed level drop due to the intense weight slowing him down. However, when released, the user gains a drastic boost to his base running speed (x4) and +35 to all his kick-related moves. Much like the weaker versions, this boost in strength and speed is completely nullified when releasing the EIG or when using any kind of movement speed enhancement technique or weight manipulation technique; they don't add up on each other. Only one of the user's bio can have these weights at any time.
( Heishi Pirates ) - Soldier Pills
Type: Supply
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A
Damage: +20 to Taijutsu and Ninjutsu
Description: Soldier Pills are special pills designed to boost the user’s physical strength and durability, allowing one to gain momentary heightened physical prowess in battle. These pills grant the user 20 damage shaving as well as a momentary boost in speed and damage of 2 base speed levels and +20 damage to Body Arts. However, these pills are not without issue, causing drawbacks after the pills' effects wear off. It is also possible to overdose on these pills, gaining higher gains at more damaging results to the body.

When taken, these pills allow the user to augment their physical forms in mounting forms while causing compounding damage to their bodies. These effects lasts shorter times than the other pills duration due to their heightened gains, lasting only 3 turns but reduces their overall health cap by 20 which cannot be raised higher. As mentioned above, the user is capable of overdosing with these pills, taking up to 3 at a time. Each subsequent pill taken allows him to gain a bonus 20 damage to his body arts and a bonus 10 damage to his Ninjutsu. This also adds 1 additional base speed per pill. However, these effects cause increasingly damaging effects on the target. Consuming two pills causes a reduction of max health by 15% or 30, whichever is higher and reduces base speed by 2 levels, weakening their physical skills by 15 damage as well. Consuming 3 pills causes a max health reduction of 25% or 50 health, whichever is higher and reduces base speed by 3 levels, weakening their physical skills by 25 damage as well.
Note: Counts as a Supply
Note: Cannot be held alongside Military Pills or Tailed Beast Drug Pills

Artifacts: During his time in Kamiyasumi following the Cataclysm, Kōtetsu accumulated several rare and mystical artifacts in the form of pieces of jewelry such as earrings, rings, and necklaces. The most unique of Final Shape, the calcified essence of a spectral Beast of Tiamat that affords him unrivaled mastery over a small number of barriers.

(Aratana Hajimari) – New Beginnings
Type: Artifact
Rank: A
Range: N/A
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: With the arrival of the God Child, the people pray for a blessed and auspicious future. They look forward with open eyes and a clear heart, hopeful for peace one day. It is a small broach with a blue diamond housed within the center of a gold inlaid metallic surface, no more than a few inches wide. Its origins are mysterious, appearing in the hands of those who fought bravely against a foe of primordial origins and only after a new star has been born. Those that hold it are imbued with a great sense of honor and duty, feeling hope for a better tomorrow. The artifact can be used three times in total. When used the user’s Chakra reserves will be replenished by 25% and they gain increased travel speed in the Ninja World for five turns, reducing travel time by 25 minutes. While it is active their passive health regeneration in the Ninja World will be increased by 15 health per day, up to a maximum of 60 regenerated health. Note that this healing can only be used outside of combat and is done passively alongside the basic Ninja World Health regeneration. Once it has been used three times the artifact will go dark, becoming useless. Though it might be prudent to hold onto it, even after its purpose has been fulfilled as it might hold other mysteries. This does not count as a battle-based Artifact.
(Saishū Keijō) – Final Shape
Type: Artifact
Rank: A – Forbidden
Range: Short – Long
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: Ancient calcified essence of the Kulullu, the Beast of Sealing; it appears as a solid mass of bone-like frozen matter no larger than the size of a fist. The Final Shape reflects the Kulullu’s mastery over the Sealing Arts, able to manipulate barriers in such a way that allowed it to produce any non-geometric shape it desired. Though as a product that tends more toward the pillar of Life and Chaos, rather than Order and Chakra, it tends to prefer the former in its activation. The artifact confers on its user greater mastery over three barrier techniques: the Four Violet Flames barrier (A), Four Red Yang (S), and the Six Red Yang Formation (F). In order to use Final Shape, one uses it as an infusion of chakra and vitality, depending on the level applied. The infusion changes the inherent mechanics of each barrier type. On a basic level the technique allows the user to shape any of these three barriers to suit their needs, escaping basic geometric formations that they are confined to. That said, they must still be used as traditional barriers. They cannot be shaped into projectiles, formed into armor, or anything that does not confine them to being used as constructs to defend or confine a certain area of the map or landmark. Each barrier is modified to be able to absorb a certain amount of damage akin to a health pool, rather than being broken by a single technique that meets a threshold. When applied to the Violet Flames barrier it allows it to absorb 100 damage before breaking, at the cost of a 30 chakra infusion. The Four Red Yang Formation is afforded the capability to absorb up to 200 points of damage at the cost of a 60 chakra infusion and 20 health points, and its Six Red Yang counterpart can absorb up to 400 points of damage. This comes at the cost of 100 additional chakra infusion and 80 health points. The essence allows the user to overcome the need for multiple partners to use it. Regardless of the rank applied, once the barrier expires the user cannot use Fuuinjutsu above A-Rank for three turns. This Final Shape was issued in Arc 16, and will be sunset at the beginning of Arc 19.
(Mukō: Kakyū) – Void: Supercharged
Type: Void Infused Artifact
Rank: S
Range: Short – Long
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: A Void Infused modification that does not act as an Accumulator or a Spender; rather, it passively increases the user’s maximum Void Infusion cap by 2. This can be stacked with the Void Artifact ‘Charged’ but it cannot be stacked with additional copies of Supercharged.
(Mukō: Kisetsu no Aisatsu) – Void: Season’s Greetings
Type: Void Infused Artifact
Rank: S
Range: Short – Long
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: Whenever the user successfully deploys a technique with a damage value greater than 100 or a Chakra value greater than 50 this Void Infused Artifact has a 30% chance of activating, granting the user two Void Infusions. This can only be activated once every four turns. If used in the months of November to February this Artifact’s chance of activation is increased to 50%.
(Mukō: Senmon Chūnyū) – Void: Specialized Infusion
Type: Void Infused Artifact
Rank: A
Range: Short – Long
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A

(Mukō: Honshitsu Kotai) – Void: Essence Transfer
Type: Void Infused Artifact
Rank: A
Range: N/A
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: Activated passively and consumes three Void Infusions; allows the user’s techniques, through their clashes with an opponent or their own techniques, to strip their opponent of an active mode and deactivate it. Can only be used once per battle.
(Mukō: Mukō no Tsuyosa) – Void: Strength of the Void
Type: Void Infused Artifact
Rank: B
Range: Short – Long
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: Activated passively at the cost of one Void Infusion; Strength of the Void increases the potency of the user’s next five offensive techniques by 20 damage.

(武器と忍具の詰め合わせ) Weaponry & Ninja Tool Assortment
Kusanagi: "Heaven Splitting Sword". Crafted by a master swordsmith, this blade is a chokutō that Kōtetsu stole from the Hidden Sounds Village, and was considered one of their national treasures. Though it was considered a treasure, the blade was shrouded within a dark legacy, with some saying that it brought out the murderous intent within a person, while other rumors claimed that the rage resided within the blade itself. It's is a bit larger in size than a normal chokutō, the blade is an inky black, and it's sheath sported the same color, but had a single red line spanning down the center. Kusanagi cut everything that crossed its path, its bloodlust indiscriminate to anything that dared cross its blade.

“A man cannot remake himself without suffering,
for he is both the marble and the sculptor.”

Name: Ronark
Nickname: Bronze Bastion | Bearer of the Seven-Fold Shield
Gender: Male
Age: 30
Clan: Hyuga
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Appearance & Personality

Forged by a life of constant travel through extreme environments and unrelenting warfare, Ronark stands as a living testament to endurance and will. Standing at an imposing six feet, three inches, he is a muscular man with skin bearing a weathered bronze hue, marked by years of exposure rather than age. Long, silver-white hair flows freely, cascading untamed down his back, framing a weathered face marked by sharp features that include an 'X' shaped scar, and eyes that burn with a subdued, ember-like intensity. His gaze carries the quiet certainty of someone who has stared into annihilation and emerged unbroken. Subtle markings and adornments along his face and neck hint at tribal origins.

In regards to attire, his regular outfit consists of a fitted underlayer of reinforced fabric that hugs his torso and arms. Over this underlayer sits a tailored harness of brown leather, secured tightly across his midsection by a system of black belts with steel buckles. The straps are functional rather than decorative, often used to house equipment. His trousers are similarly practical: black, reinforced fabric with steel-plated sections at the thighs and hips to protect vital areas without hindering movement. On his arms are black fingerless combat gloves and cuff-like steel bracers snugly secured around the forearms, while on his feet are knee-high, fur-lined combat boots. Over all of this, he wears a heavy, brown, fur-lined coat, its worn leather and steel fastenings bearing the scars of countless battles. The fur lining, taken from formidable beasts, serves not only as protection against brutal climates but as a symbol of dominance over the wild.

Ronark is the embodiment of responsibility, a nomadic chieftain from the northern snowfields who leads through responsibility rather than choice. When the spread of the Prismatic Plague left the tribe’s chieftain seat empty, there was no debate. Ronark stepped forward when others could not, accepting the full weight of their survival as his own burden. Relentlessly self-disciplined, he drives himself harder than anyone else, convinced that the fate of every tribemate rests entirely on his shoulders. No one has ever persuaded him that this burden is not his alone, and so he carries it in silence. Despite his hardened exterior, Ronark is incredibly kind and understanding. He instinctively positions himself between danger and those under his protection, acting as a living shield in both body and spirit. He understands suffering intimately and, while he may not offer comfort in words, his presence alone is a promise that harm will go no further.

Background Information

❅ The Child of the Hallow Tundra ❅

Ronark was born in the year 785 beneath a sky of iron-grey clouds in the Land of Frost to a tribe of nomads, and had as regular a childhood as one could have when their earliest memories consisted of sleds cutting across snowfields and tents rising and falling with the seasons. Their tribe, too, was one outside the norm. It wasn’t made up of family members who shared the same name, but was a gathering of people from around the world. It consisted of traders and merchants. Warriors and healers. Craftsmen and cartographers. They had all come together to form a tight-knit community that functioned seamlessly, and eventually became a family whose bond could weather any storm.

Ronark’s mother hailed from the Badlands of Earth, and through their constant travels, taught him various elements such as Steel Release. Her teachings instilled in him not only technical mastery but also a profound sense of connection to her homeland and to the ever-shifting journey they shared. His father, who hailed from the Hyuga Clan, introduced him to the clan’s unique Gentle Fist style and the use of their remarkable doujutsu, the All-Seeing White Eye. These lessons became more than mere instruction; they represented the inheritance of his father’s hopes and a pathway to understanding his place within both the clan and the wider tribe. Other members of the tribe also shaped his development. From the healers, he learned Medical Ninjutsu, their patient guidance fostering gratitude and a desire to preserve life even amid hardship. He remembers feeling both awe and trepidation when arcanists journeying with them shared the intricacies of Fūinjutsu. He was even able to learn several Kinjutsu Techniques, though the elders forbade their use.

Ronark, clad in his tribe’s traditional attire and bead adornments, circa 797

He was nineteen years old when news from the south reached them that Chungsu, capital of the Freehold of Hanguri, had been devastated. The Kyūbi manifested in the heart of the city and reduced the city to ruin. Stone became dust. Governance became memory. In the span of a single calamity, an entire nation ceased to exist.

As more time passed, the news from the south became worse. By 811, the Freehold had fully collapsed, and what remained was a blood-soaked scramble for dominance. Minor clans warred openly. Major powers such as the Golden Sabbath tightened its grip over the Badlands and the Great Wind Desert. In contrast, Takauji Ashikaga and the surviving Black Ones entrenched themselves as a rising power in the Tea Peninsula. Their position in the Land of Frost spared the tribe from the turmoil, but even that would not last forever.

In the winterbound north, a village called Tsumigakure rose and exiled them to the edges of the frozen wilds. It was then that the tribe understood one truth: the age of wandering without consequence was over. And when the world turned its gaze eastward, toward Tobusekai, so too did they.

However, they knew that survival demanded change. The tribe decided to abandon the illusion of neutrality in the Warring States to ensure their own survival. Focusing more on the warriors of the tribe, they reforged themself into a mercenary band known as Maelstrom. While the tribe still maintained its mercantile and nomadic nature, the warriors and the militaristic factions rose to the forefront. No longer wanderers without stake, they sold their blades, wares, and knowledge to those they deemed worthy wherever they moved. And with the constant fighting amongst the surrounding clans, work was never in short supply.

Besides the mercenary work the tribe did, one of their primary activities was frequently transporting goods and information from Veskal’s Exchange across the entirety of Tobusekaion on behalf of the Spider. However, even that came to a screeching halt in 813 with the Second Outbreak of Red Fever. The tribe’s nomadic nature had brought them into contact with numerous people, which resulted in them being negatively impacted even more as the sickness ravaged through them. Strong warriors died choking in their sleep. Children burned with fever. Ronark watched comrades collapse faster than enemies ever had.

Maelstrom transporting goods from Veskal’s Exchange, circa 813

Word eventually reached them that the Ronin, inhabitants of the Dark Tower, were hosting a tournament in which the winner could receive a cure for the disease. Maelstrom sent forth as many warriors as they could spare while their healers worked tirelessly to preserve the conditions of their afflicted. Unfortunately, none of their warriors made it to the final round of the tournament, and the one who did win forsook humanity’s survival. Instead of claiming the cure for the Red Fever, the champion chose something else. The world wailed at the news, but fate had yet to abandon them. Word had spread from Last Bastion of a mysterious child capable of curing the Red Fever, and the desperate tribe packed up and made the arduous journey south. It was late September when they arrived, and though they received the cure, it came too late for Ronark’s mother. She died quietly a few weeks later, the lavender tint of her Byakugan fading as dawn broke.

Still, Maelstrom endured. They continued to guard the high-value transports of the Spider and other merchants as they continued travelling, frequently returning to Last Bastion as they carved a reputation for reliability amid the collapse. But the world was not finished taking from them.

The world celebrated the 130th Conqueror’s End, a festival that paid homage to the conquests of Aléxandros Mégas, who was proclaimed Emperor after conquering the Badlands of Earth and threatening the Hangurian Freehold. This year’s celebration was especially important as the world took its first steps in recovering from the Red Fever, where people would dress in masks of ghosts, Black Ones, Daijo-Daijin, and nameless soldiers, pretending the scars of history were costumes rather than wounds.

Humanity told itself peace had returned.

It was a lie.

That morning, a violent earthquake shook the world, its epicenter located in the Kaizoku Sea. But Last Bastion was a fortress as well as a city; a stronghold built to survive the worst disasters. It had stood for hundreds of years as a sanctuary of law and order in a place where chaos reigned. An earthquake in its neighboring ocean could hardly shake the city’s infrastructure or the morale of its people, but that proved to be their undoing.

Later that day, smoke from the Kaizoku Sea rolled in low and heavy, filling the city with a colorless haze. The air carried the stink of brine, rot, and old blood long before the dead themselves appeared. By the time the first screams echoed through the port district, the city already understood. This was not a raid, not a skirmish, and not something that would end quickly. Ronark and the other Maelstrom warriors felt it before they saw it. He grabbed Himingjrð, his seven-fold shield, as the members of his tribe gathered, noncombatants clutching packs, wounded fighters leaning on one another, children staring wide-eyed at a world collapsing faster than they could understand. He guided them away from the southern avenues, funneling them into evacuation routes carved through backstreets and service roads, paths learned through years of living as wanderers.

Behind them, the dead came ashore. They spilled into the streets in staggering numbers. Ronark turned at the edge of the city and planted his feet. Chakra surged through the etched lines of his shield, the segments unfolding and locking into a wide, curved wall that filled the street from stone to stone. The first wave of undead struck it like surf against a cliff. The impact thundered through the avenue, rot-flesh bursting apart in flashes of blue light as the force was broken and redirected back into the horde.

Maelstrom formed around him in silence, moving as they always had, measured and precise. They struck from behind the shelter of the shield, pulled the injured back, and bought time with blood and exhaustion. Ronark gave ground only when another of his people had passed beyond reach, each step backward taken reluctantly, deliberately. Minutes stretched into something shapeless. One by one, Ronark forced his fighters to fall back with the evacuees. Each departure thinned the line until only the dead and the shield remained. When the last of his tribe vanished into the maze of streets leading away from the port, Ronark stood alone.

The undead surged forward, climbing over their own fallen, hurling themselves against him with mindless devotion. His shield blazed brighter with every impact, shattering bodies, crushing bone, burning corruption away in violent arcs of chakra and steel. The street beneath his boots cracked and collapsed, slick with blood and seawater. He did not move until there was nothing left behind him to protect. When the final moment came, Ronark drove the shield into the stone with overwhelming force. The street caved in upon itself, rubble and fire swallowing the advancing dead as the ground gave way. Their grasping hands vanished beneath the wreckage, their screams drowned beneath the collapse.

Only then did Ronark turn from Last Bastion. The city burned behind him, its walls already echoing with distant ruin, but his people were alive, carried beyond the reach of the dead. And that, in the end, was all that mattered.

Maelstrom spent the next few months as they always had. Travelling. Trading. Fighting. The only difference now was that they mostly fought the undead instead of other humans. Word had reached the tribe that an entrance to the Underworld from where the undead came was found, and that soon, a number of champions were coming together in the Badlands of Earth to raid the Underworld and end the threat once and for all. This time, however, Maelstrom was too broken to answer the call. Too few fighters remained. Too many graves had been dug. Even the old chieftain’s seat stood empty, and there was no one but Ronark to fill it.

Ronark becomes chieftain, circa 814

He did not claim leadership with ceremony. He claimed it by standing when others could not. As chieftain and the effective head of the mercenary group, Ronark became the axis upon which Maelstrom turned. Internally, he felt the profound weight of this responsibility; each decision pressed upon him, weighed down by the memory of those they had lost. He led not with speeches, but with presence, bearing responsibility as he bore his shield: fully, without complaint, even when doubt and grief threatened to overwhelm him. It did help that the Champions of Humanity had defeated the Voidlord Phetra, Ruler of the Underworld, thereby solving their undead problem. But as was a universal constant in his life, another issue was bound to arise, and this time it came in the form of the Prismatic Plague in 814. When the virus that granted immortality was mutated by the Voidlord Nefarian, hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of humans were slain all at once. Many of his tribesmen fell victim to it, including his own father.

Seeking some semblance of solace for himself and his people, Ronark decided that Maelstrom would participate in an expedition that would see them venture westward to one of the few places they had yet to travel, the island of Kamiyasumi. Financed by the merchants of Veskal’s Exchange, the tribe traveled luxuriously to the island that was sheltered in mystery. It was here that they met the Monks of the Human Order, immortal humans who had lived for thousands of years. While this was a staggering discovery in and of itself, the tribe continued to roam these new lands as they always did, exploring the exotic locals, documenting the flora and fauna, and sometimes even fighting beasts they’d never before seen.

They travelled across the Outer Lands for months, and when the late winter of 814 came, it was time for them to return to Tobusekai. Maelstrom traveled slowly on its way back, moving from the Badlands of Earth to the Great Wind Desert. Through the Land of Fire and the Lightning Mountains. They moved south through the Ancrath Archipelago to the Tea Peninsula. Across the Kanashii Ocean to the Water Archipelago, until they finally reached their destination in the late spring of 815.

The peace they’d found in Kamiyasumi, unfortunately, had not followed Ronark and his tribe to the eastern continent. Not even two weeks had passed since their return when tragedy struck once again. They had barely begun to re-establish their footing when the sky ignited. A blinding white flash tore across the heavens, burning itself into his vision. When his sight cleared, the Moon was no longer whole. It split apart in slow, impossible silence, vast fractures tearing through its surface as enormous fragments broke free, trailing fire as they began their descent. Ronark’s breath caught in his chest as disbelief threatened to paralyze him. His heart pounded against his chest as he shouted orders, rallying his tribesmen to seek shelter beneath shattered stone arches, his voice steadier than he felt. Some could only stare as meteors rained down across the world, distant impacts rolling like endless thunder beneath their feet.

He had lived through plagues, wars, and the fall of cities, but this was different. This was worse. Whatever battle had been fought far beyond his reach had ended not with silence, but with a wound that would be carved into the world itself. He tightened his grip on the familiar weight of his blue-and-black shield as the heavens continued to burn. Ronark scanned the members of his tribe as they rushed for cover. They were survivors who had endured too much to be undone by fear now, even if the world was breaking again. Without a word, he stepped forward, placing himself between them and the falling stars, shield angled skyward as if to challenge the heavens themselves. Gods or no gods, ruin or no ruin, he understood that whatever came next would be endured the same way everything else had been, by those still standing, shields raised, refusing to be crushed beneath a broken sky.

Other Information

Runic Inscriptions: Ronark is well-versed in the sealing arts, granting him access to several unique techniques that require fine chakra control. The first seal is etched into his Seven-Fold Shield and serves to both bind it to his hands and allow them to release streamed or projectile techniques. It also holds a second seal that retains enhancements granted to the shield, and a third seal that allows it to absorb energy-based elemental attacks and enhance itself with the absorbed element.

[Fuuinjutsu: Henkan] - Sealing Art: Conversion
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A-Rank
Range: Short - long
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: A simple fuuinjutsu formula that is applied to a form of metal. This can be a basic weapon such as a sword, kunai or shield etc, or even metallic elements such as steel release. This formula is applied passively but to activate it's use costs one of the users 3 jutsu per turn. How this seal works is, much like the cannon sealing technique "( Ho/Mizu/Kaze/Tsuchi/Rai Houin ) - Fire/Water/Wind/Earth/Lightning Sealing Method" it absorbs an element, only working on energy based elements such as fire or lightning. Though, instead of containing this element within the seal, instead in coverts the element and redistributes it through the metallic object, channeling it around it. For example, if this seal were applied to a sword, the user could activate the seal to draw in the lightning and have it then converted and redistributed around the sword, using the seal as a method of reshaping the technique and applying it as a coating around the sword. This can absorb up to A rank energy based elements, and reform them to coat the object the seal is applied to. This will only work on wind, lightning and fire based elements, and advanced variants such as typhoon or black lightning. This is possible much like how jiraiya was able to use the seal to absorb amaterasu, and advanced variant of fire. The limit to this is, that the seal can only coat the item it's placed on and not be manipulated further. It will coat the item for 1 turn. The formula can be applied to part of an object so as to not hurt the user when the coating is applied, for example, only applied to the blade of a sword, so the user can hold the handle without hurting themselves.

Note: Useable 4 times. Once applied to an object passively, it remains there until activated, when activated it counts as one of the uses, the passive application does not. Once activated the element will be absorbed in and redistributed coating the item within mere moments, last until the end of the users next turn.
Note: Can only be activated on one item or object at a time (such as one steel jutsu etc) and the seal can only be applied once to an object or seal.
Note: Once activated must wait 1 turn before activating again. No fuuinjutsu above A rank in the following turn.

- Upon resuscitation, this technique will heal the user up to the amount of chakra stored in the seal, though it cannot recover HP lost from spiritual damage.

Weaponry: Himingjrð: “Heavensward”. Crafted through a combination of Northern Cold Iron and black steel, Himingjrð is a Sevenfold Shield Ronark received during his coming of age. Its surface is formed from deep, light-absorbing black metal, with cyan highlights across its face in precise, geometric patterns. It stands roughly six feet tall, nearly matching Ronark’s full height, with a fanned width of about four to five feet. The shield’s deliberate curvature seems mathematical in nature, built not merely to withstand force but also to deflect it. In use, it would completely cover his torso and head and could easily protect allies positioned directly behind him. The underside is also cyan and features a contraption that allows it to be strapped across his back.

In addition to his shield, Ronark has a wide assortment of standard weapons, scrolls, and sealing tags on his person. He also wears added weights around his legs that dramatically enhance his running speed and the strength of his leg-based attacks when removed.

Items: The only items Ronark currently carries are medicinal supplies in the form of Soldier pills.

Creation Of All Things - Kōlthrax: Born from Ronark’s use of Creation of All Things, Kōlthrax is a small serpentine dragon clad in sleek obsidian-black scales, threaded with faintly glowing cyan veins that suggest a steady current of energy coursing beneath her hide. Her wings are formed from translucent, crystal-like shards that refract light into brilliant shades of blue, leaving faint trails of luminescent mist when it moves. She has bright, gemlike eyes and delicate crystalline spines that crown her head and run partway down her back. Her forelimbs can perform handseals.

With 150 Health and 2,000 Chakra, Kōlthraxis is gifted with the ability to utilize Umbra Release, Arctic Earth Release, and Steel Release. She can use Genjutsu and Yang Release, and also utilizes the Chakra Transfer Technique. Lastly, she has human-level intelligence and shares a mental link with Ronark. Though capable of flight, her small size allows her to perch on the shoulder of her creator or take refuge in his coat.
