So I decided I was just gonna do this out of boredom, but I think all you Harry Potter fans should get a kick out of this. In fact I'm sure I'm not the first person to make these observations. But here goes, a comparison of the two evil figures.
1.) Orochimaru and Voldemort both have an obvious obsession with snakes. I don't even need to explain this one.
2.) Both are power hungry and wish to be known as the greatest in the world.
3.)Both were orphaned at young ages.
4.)Both were once disciples of a very highly respected member of the community at the time. Dumbledore was considered the greatest wizard of his time, just as Hiruzen was often referred to as the God of shinobi. They would both eventually come back and attempt to kill their teachers.
5.)Both of them were, and still are, considered geniuses of their time.
6.)They both seem to be basically immortal in some way or another. Voldemort splits his soul six ways and places them in Horcruxes, from which one of his supporters can revive him if needed. In the same manner, from what we've seen, each of Orochimaru's curse marks works in the same manner, allowing him to be revived if someone can get a sample of his DNA.
Just thought this would be a fun discussion for the Oro fans out there.
