Lord Of The Rings: Most skilled warrior in the fellowship?

Today my best friend brought up a (silly) argument we have had since childhood. Its based on a simple question: who is the most skilled combatant (strongest or whatever else you want to call it) in the fellowship if we don't count Olorin (obviously).

So just for fun I'll ask here, if we take out Olorin who is the most skilled warrior in the fellowship of the ring?

If possible try to refer to the book (I would post it in that section but noone ever goes there)

Aragorn. In the fellowship specifically I think Aragorn had more feats but over all I think Legolas is more skilled.

I've only watched the Movies, and just re watched the two towers today, so awesome, but back to the point it's either Aragorn or Legolas, but since Aragorn is my favorite I'm gonna say him, a little biased I know, but whatever.

I actually think Legolas is more skilled in what he does but Aragorn is the stronger one and more balanced out fighter.

Well If we put Legolas and Elessar in a fight together, Legolas would probably stick an arrow between his eyes before Aragorn can get near to him. +1 in Archery for Legolas.

If Legolas were to use his twin blades vs Aragorn, there is no doubt that Aragorn will rofl stomp him - even if Legolas is quick, Aragorn can deal a strong death blow with Anduril. Plus he is quite quick as well, and has a Dagger as back up. +1 in CQC for Aragorn.

Now if we said who can get the most kills, I'd definitely say Legolas, he killed a Mumak for christ sake and Aragorn even relied on him to take it down. Oh and we can't forget about the Shield Surf at Helms Deep. But Aragorn is a better leader and Legolas would follow him till death, oh and Aragorn can make amazing speeches U_u'' and summon an army of the dead, but that was a one time thing.

I'd say they're pretty equal and need one another <3 lmao.

Samwise Gamgee is most Skilled. Brave, Strong, Loyal, can cook, Took on a Giant Spider and many left over Orcs/Uruks at Cirith Ungol. He carried the ring for a short period where even Aragorn dare not and survived the heat of Mount Doom - he saved Frodo on multiple occasions like tackling him before a Fell ****ing Beast grabbed him and knew that Gollum was going to betray them before it happened. He helped convinced Faramir to let them go on to Destroy the ring, he even went back to save Frodo when he was turned away, and he's just a Gardener U_U

Best Gardener ever, I want a Gardener. If I was to choose anyone from the fellowship, I'd choose Sam the most underrated character. He can't swim doh.
