Someone explain how Jiraiyan wins or counters Jinton..

I see Jiraiya being very underrated here.

At the beginning of the battle Onoki will most likely take to the air. Since Jiraiya starts in SM, he has acess to all his Sage Mode abilities from the very start. So while Onoki is preparing/loading jinton, Jiraiya can use this technique to disrupt Onoki and force him to stop jinton.

Before you say Onoki just flies out of range, look at what Jiraiya said about that jutsu. It's his fastest attack with his widest range (bottom panel):

Now there's obviously the issue of Onoki's bodyguards here. I really hate these conditions but I will choose not to ignore them. Akatsuchi will probably use his golem to defend Onoki from the hair needles just like he used it to protect Onoki from Deidara's bomb (assuming Akatsuchi can react to Jiraiya's fastest attack which he probably can't.) So what can Jiraiya do to actually take down the Iwa ninja? The answer lies in Ma and Pa. They can use their tongues to reel in Onoki, Akatsuchi, and the stone golem all at once into close combat.

At which point the golem (along with Akatsuchi and Onoki) is greeted by an ultra big-ball rasengan.

Agreed. Jinton can be avoided with a shadow clone or Sage Mode Speed....what about Substitution?
