Seems too retarded for my tastes. I've also decided to read Akame ga KILL!, but Berserk doesn't have the type of character design I'm into.

If I had a dime for every time I heard that and people turn around after reading it and say how amazing OP is, I'd be rich.

Also a really good read is Tower of God. Not a manga made in Japan but a Manhwa made in Korea. Its all colored too.

Anything "exciting" about it? For instance, all of the manga listed had to do with psychology, or a good story.

It is pretty exciting. You have never read anything like it, I can promise you that much.

If it's pure psychological + Action that you are looking for, Liars Game, Code Geass, Monster, 20th century Boys ( it's a must read ) are my recommendations.

If you are looking for Psychological and Romance, I have quite a few recommendations, so just ask.
