Oh well. I can't name anymore because the type you are searching for is rare. I still recommend you searching for other types of animes otherwise you'll miss some good ones.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn - Dying Will Flames or Deathperation flames (depending on translations) they go pretty deep with this. There are Sky Flames (the Sky itself, Storm, Rain, Sun, Lightning, Cloud, and Mist.) and Earth Flames (Earth, Forest, Mountain, Swamp, Glacier, Desert, and something else - these are in a manga only arc though) it's a good fun series you should check it out (get past the first 20 eps or so - they're basically comedic introductions)

Yep, Toriko is a really good one that has the same concept as those listed in your post. "Appetite" is the name of it, and it acts as their energy for combat moves. A good variety of moves makes it seem a lot like jutsu, spells, etc..

Negima is another good one that uses a definitive amount of "energy" though, it uses spells for the most part, and gets into battles later on in the manga.
