Looking back, was anyone else disappointed with....

Was anyone else disappointed with the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist? I mean they were said to be the most powerful generation and the best of Kirigakure.

I especially point to the disappointment of Mangetsu, who was called the "second coming of the demon" mastered all the swords and held the scroll to all of them, assuming him being the leader; yet we have not seen virtually anything from him and I was really looking forward to somehow seeing a interaction between him and his brother Suigetsu and a little backstory on why Suigetsu didn't make it into the swordsmen and why Mangetsu died.

Also none of them had any jutsu whatsoever except for the Silent killing tech. I was hoping for some more awesome water jutsu like Kisame's or even a few like Zabuza.

And they all went down really fast and didn't get to see them much in action.

Who else feels this way?

One they didn't go down fast, two blame kishi.

Basically there was bigger things in the story then showing the seven swordsmen

The animators can't make techs up so even in fillers they can only show the little that kishi has shown repeated. It's a shame but that's just how it is

People seem to forget that they was tearing through fodders like no tomorrow, it took kakashi's whole unit (of however many hundred to thousands) to deal with these seven people to me they lived up to their name we just didn't get to see it

That's what lightbringer's saying. The fact that they had so much prestige, and then were killed off without an explanation. Kishi needs to work on that, or the people who do the fillers,

they showed picks of the seven swordsmen as minibosses during the hack and slash segments, still no confirmation whether they will be playable or only support

I am blaming kishi lol he hyped them up and showed absolutely nothing with them. When they were resurrected at the end of the chapter, I was like Ohhhh Sh1T!!! and it sounded like a big deal, but it wasn't -_-

I am sure it was but kishi just didn't show it so yh it's his fault.
