This brings us to an interesting philosophical debate about the relative merits of this thread.
Surely, since the thread is going against the description of the sub-forum, which is merely a place to introduce yourselves, it could be concluded that the necessity of informing the majority of the members about the arrival of a member who has concluded a temporary leave of absence. The possible counter-arguments to this could follow the lines of:
a) It doesn't matter about the description
b) Others do it too
c) People need to realise the arrival of someone thought gone
d) "Introduction" includes messages of re-arrival
d) Stop spamming, Emperor.
The counter-counter arguments to this would be as follows -
a) If the description doesn't truly matter, then a member could post a fanfiction in the Battle Arena without any possible qualms;
b) This can generally be summed up by the saying " If a man jumps into a well, will you do it too? "
c) A person's absence and subsequent re-arrival will definitely be noted by the other members once they begin RP-ing or making their opinions known in other sections. It can also be said here that it is particularly difficult to not know of the arrival of someone as...prolific...as Akash.
d) Though this would lead to a complex argument on semantics, it is better to recognise the official definition which doesn't include announcements of return.
e) I would claim I am doing my duty by pointing out a flaw in the system.
In conclusion, as Caesar may have once said, Is est sono somnium. [ referring to this post ]
The fact that you went to the effort of doing this made me laugh xd
