Sorry, but we are talking about Senju blood.. not clans... Uzumaki is a specific group just like the senju group of Hashirama.. of the Senju Blood.

No, the Senju clan of Hashirama (which consists of many other clans of the senju blood group) is cousins with the Uzumaki clan (which is also a group of the senju blood)..

Before Hashirama's reign as the leader of the Senju clan.. there were alot of different groups that were senju ... but were not in the senju clan. Uzumaki clan is one of those clans. Uzumaki unlike the other groups were settled on an island isolated from the main land. Hence why you ahve the treaty of Konoha and uzumaki.
