I was thinking when I was reading the last chapter, released today on manga stream (715), that the Funk Brothers remind me of something...

The Elric Brothers!

A smaller younger brother that is set off by being called a shrimp, and a larger, pacifist younger brother that is constantly refering to his brother as 'big brother'.

Not only this, but the odd devil fruit power that has been displayed apparently allows the user to 'wear' other things and people. The younger elric was for all intensive purposes, just a suit of armor. While it's slightly inverted, it would be easy how Oda could imagine the fruit ability as well as the Funk Brothers personalities, from the Elric Brothers from full metal alchemist.

What do ya think?

I want it to be Big Mam, if it is Big Mam it would be great foreshadowing on Oda's part.

Jora being Lola's mom is the best theory, seeing as it gives us a glimpse of how the Sunny will return to normal.



OT: They aren't very similar, 'cause Al actually has the balls to fight. Whereas the little Funk did shit all until the big bro got rocked.
