Idk Asuma died to fast. I don't think he was there long enough to have that kage impact. Don't get me wrong Shika is awesome but not strong enough. Choji is the opposite of Shika and Ino is Ino xd

+rep bro it's true. I thought Naruto would always be an underdog and in a way he is. However being trained by Jiraya just means he just inherited the free ticket to kageville.

really.. naruto's dad is hokage (he was met him and we see naruto doing FTG here and there sometimes.... jiraya sage mode... enough said....kakashi also another good enough man to train under to get fighting knowledge.... naruto was infact groomed to be the hokage........

You're not trained by someone who is a hokage or trained by someone who was trained by a hokage. Or somehow related to the past hokage in anyway.

So it means if you're favorite character is in the konoha 11 besides Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura they'll never be hokage!! (YES I SAID SAKURA!)

Lol it's messed up, but look at all the past kage in the leaf village. The 1st and 2nd Hokage were brothers in which Tsunde(5th Hokage) is the granddaughter of the 1st.

The 1st and 2nd trained the 3rd Hokage who was sensei to the 5th and Jiraiya. Konohamaru is the grand son of the 3rd. Jiraiya was sensei to the 4th. Which makes Naruto the possible 6th Hokage and Konohamaru the 7th.

Naruto is the son of the 4th which will make him the 6th, not because Jiraiya was the sensei to the 4th.

Its already been stated that was the uchihas clans beef all along that the senju clan was always kept either as hokage or closely related to the hokage somehow. Its been said that naruto is loosely related to the senju clan as well.
