I find it really weird that the underdog in this case is not Naruto, but Obito even though he is the Juubi Jin Lol
I mean the majority of NB is 100% sure that he is getting tnjed :|
This manga doesn't simply have it creativity and its unique, every villain gets tnj, and thats a bad thing, and because of that, this whole plot becomes so absurd, it's too repetitive, and so stale . Sure some are justified, but it can't be every villain gets tnj
TNJ is overdone. For once why can't we have a villian who sticks with his ambition, Obito was so sure of himself since the moment Rin died. If he changes now that is horrible.
He just started to regret it, Naruto didn't convince him to dance with the fairies and have a happy ending like he did with Nagato, Obito just thought of an alternate world where he could've had what Naruto and Kakashi had. He could've lived Naruto's life and he's coming to terms with the fact that the life isn't hell, it's HIS life that was hell. I don't even blame him because it would've taken a ridiculous amount of willpower and life-changing optimism to get over and carry on after he held Rin. Something that...only Naruto himself is able to really do. That's why Naruto is unique and what Obito wished he could've been like. If there's any character who would get 'talk no jutsu'd' it'd be Obito. They were basically the same person.
Not to mention Naruto didn't beat Obito through 'getting to his heart', he's also CLEARLY outsmarted, overpowered and now outwilled Obito at every turn.
Ever since the Zabuza fight it's clear that Naruto's greatest power is empathy.
That's why he will become the strongest ninja, turn all those who oppose him into his allies and create world peace. And you're complaining why people are able to relate to him?
I'm not one of those people that thinks like "Read it, like it, and shut the hell up.", but I do agree that it's apart of this story. Some people may not like it, some people will. I respect both opinions. But, this is integrated with Naruto's character. Not to bring another series into this, but Hawkeyes said something like "Luffy possess the greatest power on the sea, the power to turn enemies into friends." <---That's not word for word, but you get the point. I think Zabuza was the first person Naruto TNJ'd, well not totally. This is something Kishi planned, and to him, is a vital part of this series. To be honest, it's a little too mushy for my taste. But, there are other elements I like about the story as well.
By the way, I knew Obito was going to get TNJ'd when this happened:
I am not happy with the way the story warped after Pein's undue demise. There is a thing called characterization and proper pacing in any story-telling medium, let it be Epic Poems even. This guy is a retard, and I will criticize him to death for his poor writing skills. The only reason I don't give up on this manga is because of Sasuke. I have stuck by his character since the beginning and I will see this garbage through, but damn, it's a torturous toil.

Come on, man. How can you blame people for showing their displeasure? I know so many people - educated people - mad at the sheer and steep drop in this manga's quality. Those people have stuck with this manga for years - bought it even. At least this guy owes them a good story.
