Does anyone else know the Hidan that cursed vulgarly and used obscene and profanity in the anime. The words he used cant be listed here.. (or can they?). That Hidan was freakin' awesome. Not that toned down, hulu version.

now you remind me of a question.....why didn't orochimaru take over hidans body earlier on ?

Orochimaru left Akatsuki years before Hidan joined and stayed in hiding so he may have been unaware of Hidan's existence. Furthermore, he probably knew Itachi was waiting for him.

As stated earlier, Kishimoto stated either in a databook or interview that though Hidan could regenerate rapidly, he would eventually die of malnutrition, as he was forced to eat to keep his body immortal. He also stated he meant to do a lot more with him. Give him a longer fight and more weapons and techniques out of his scythe like the asura path and sasori, but that the editors and publishers forced him to rush him and cut those parts of his content out. Probably because they were greedy and wanted him to get to the Sasuke vs. Itachi fight faster so they could make more money from the skyrocketing ratings that followed.
