Gon and killua are way different than Gonten and Trunks. They may have little similarities but that's about it. Meanwhile I can list the characters Kishi copied from HxH. Togashi is really creative unlike Kishi

I said "Fiction" meaning not just manga :sdo: but pretty sure the plot line of a father/mother giving his/her kid to someone while they go away and the kid grows up thinking that person that took care of them is there parent when in reality it isn't, isn't something HXH did first :lol and no need for that, I already seen a video debunking this BS by HXH fans. A lot of Hunter x Hunter character designs are basically from DBZ this is undeniable. As for the OP, mangaka jack each other all the time, and this situation really isn't the same as Gon and Ging's.

Nope. Gon always knew mito wasn't his mother since he was told his parents were dead, which is not the case. It seems like you haven't read the series, I suggest you read the first chapter since it states mito won the right to take care of Gon.

The only designs I can think of is meruem and cell. But Togashi developed meruem really well.

Well Togashi did help Kishi in the early stages of Naruto. He also stated how he was a big fan of him and his work. Search up their interviews.
