Understand me....understand these 2 things:

1. Oro never intended to "fight" itachi. It was disposed to be a quick body swap which failed....that why he went after sasuke.

2. This same body swap in question was the same one a 3 tomoe sasuke broke. Uchiha hax instantly counter this.

Now...understand me...if oro wanted to pursue and kill itachi....say with his part 1 edos....1st,2nd and 4th hokages.....he's as good as done for. Now....if anyone daresay itachi can beat that.....well friend....

well, Itachi's is Orochimaru's mortal enemy- weasels eat snakes, and mythologically Totsuka>Kusanagi and susanoo killed yamata no orochi. however, yeah that fight was incredibly overrated, Itachi didn't one-shot Oro with 3-tomoe, he just showed him that any attempt to take Itachi over would fail miserably. if Orochimaru had wanted to continue fighting it would have warranted the mangekyou- tsukuyomi or totsuka to really defeat him.

i'm more pissed that orochimaru had been searching for the totsuka sword all his life yet didn't recognise it until it had started to seal him, wtf is that about. i swear kishi makes the people surrounding itachi behave like idiots to make him look good, inconsistency at its best.

If he really wanted to defeat Itachi, he could have used Edo Tensei to summon powerful ninjas like Hokages like he did against Hiruzen for example. That alone is a proof that all what interested him was to take Itachi's body, not destroy it
