Amaterasu won't work even if it hits him. Kamui is a natural counter for Amaterasu. It hit Obito point blank and he came back unscathed after warping the flames

Actually the reason ppl debate weather sasuke can do it or not is since all he had to do is create ps armour for naruto's kurama avatar its still up to debate whether he can make a full ps (bones, legs,muscle,skin, armour and all).

Kakashi on the other hand already brought himself out of kamuiland, and there's no reason to believe going in costs more chakra than leaving.

Like Itachi has the chakra to do something like that. Kakashi has stamina problems and he makes 1-2 clones max. Itachi is worse so you do the math..... besides why even care about the clones when kakashi could still just kamui the original.

kakashi has sharingan so he can differentiate between clones
and for people commenting amateratsu will kill kakashi then thats a mistake activating amateratsu takes time same as kamui
so if either of them activates faster than the other than that person has higher chance of winning
but seeing kakashi has 3 elements he can use earth wall for protection against amateratsu and activate his kamui inside the barrier or go underground to activate it
kakashi himself said same jutsu(tsukyumi) doesnt work twice on him i know he can get caught in it but he wont die from it but he can also dodge using the intell guy gave him to fight without looking into an uchiha's eye
kakashi's kamui's accuracy has increased so much that he can kamui sasuke's susano arrow or small as nail so if kakashi does a kamui on itachi's head its game over
or if itachi uses susanoo then kakashi can just sacrifice his most of his chakra and can kamui whole of susanoo

Kakashi hasn't seen itatchis susaano he has magatama that crazy mirror and the heaven sword... He also has explosive clones, shadow clones and crow clones not all if these distribute chakra... If kakashi can snipe anything this manga is over in 2 chapters tops

Kakashi already countered Tsukiyomi, and has encountered Sasuke's susano'o that is at a higher level then Itachi's. Kakashi was taking on multiple tailed beasts in the war and kamui a rasengan faster then Obito's sharingan can see. Yata isn't even an issue because Kamui spawns behind the mirror bypassing it completely.

The manga has progressed past itachi at this point, he had his time but he can't play with the big boys anymore.....plain and simple.
