maybe we werent reading the same manga but his hair was definitlt a DARK murky red color and his hair does matter as much as a sharingans pattern.

You obviously aren't a writer, him leaving the Byakugan out of the picture was bad writing and made what Kakashi said a plothole. Also the explanation wasn't botched or even hard to understand at all.

Kyuaga had a Byakugan before she had a Sharingan, what's hard to understand?
