Logically, shouldn't Sasuke care for Kakashi more than Naruto?

Shouldn't Sasuke have a stronger bond with Kakashi than he does with Naruto?
I mean, Kakashi taught him how to use his lightning affinity.
They've trained together, just the two of them. Which should've made for a lot of bonding time.
Kakashi has lost many loved-ones, just like Sasuke has. So Sasuke should know that Kakashi understands his pain.
If Sasuke knows that Kakashi's deceased friend was an Uchiha, that should mean something as well.
Also, their personalities are similar. They're both chill and they both have that "cool guy" persona.

^This. Kakashi was his sensei; he didn't have a strong bond with him, not like the one he has with Naruto.
Plus Sasuke was never happy with the fact that Kakashi has a Sharingan.
Naruto considers Jiraiya as a father figure and not as a best friend, even though he trained with Jiraiya for almost three years and was constantly alone with him. Being alone with your sensei for a while doesn't mean you start to have a strong bond or create a friendship.
And Sasuke probably sees something in Naruto that reminds him of himself - well that and Naruto just refuses to give up on him

I never understood Naruto's and Sasuke's "BONDING" since they were always fighting and hating each other. Specially Sasuke, he truly did hate naruto to the point of killing him...Naruto's obsession with saving sasuke is a bit TOO creepy..

Lol I'm going to have to agree. Kakashi is a wise, veteran, badass shinobi. He knows when someone has crossed the line and cannot be saved. Sasuke legit tried to kill Team Seven and was very close in doing so. Kakashi most likely gave up hope on Sasuke. Another wise man, Jiraiya, also wasn't a fan Naruto bringing Sasuke back to Konoha.

nope. it's not just rivalry. with rivalry always comes the friendship that is if there isn't any hostility. there were times when both sasuke and naruto went as far as to sacrifice themselves for one other. they were even ready to die for other's sake.

it's not just rivalry. at the end even sasuke admitted that naruto truly has become his best friend.

Sasuke does care for Naruto, or at least did, do you not remember in the invasion of Konoha, when Sasuke was saying that he wouldn't let his trusted comrades fall. He even said that Naruto was his best friend, so although he could be close to Kakashi, Naruto is closer because even though they are different and fight, they are best friends, the fact that they went so far for each other against Haku and in the forest of death underlines this.

Naruto is at least bi because he has shown interest in girls, and anyway, although you are right Kishi has gone about the friendship the wrong way, there is a point to why Kishi is doing it. A main theme in the story is the new generation surpassing the past one, Jiraiya failed with Oro so to fully surpass Jiraiya, he must succeed in this respect too. Naruto is all about perseverance, so if Naruto was to give up now, it would be contradictory to his character.
