Let me put reasons for or against:

Kakashi: still a possibility, he has entirety of the elders plus the nations lord for him. Won't take it because he feels that its too much of a hassle

Oro: never going to happen, might have been in the running for the fourth but was discounted for many reasons. Plus he killed the third and nearly started a war.

Sasuke: also never going to happen, a criminal who had a goal to destroy the village.

Naruto: most likely candidate, main character, hero, child of the fourth and student of jiraiya.

If you look at all the other Kages they are either senju or students of the senju who inherited their will. Oro and Sasuke are polar opposites of the senju ideals.

Logical choice would be Naruto or Kakashi

And it is not true that Jinchuuriki kages dont work well
Naruto is viewed as a HERO, the people ACCEPT HIM, he is a very very viable option for Kage
Sasuke and Orochimaru wont be picked over Kakashi or Naruto any day bud sorry to burst your bubble

Naruto's probably the best choice. He's the person with the most growth, he goes from being the most dim-witted to possibly one of the smartest (he's still sort of idiot savant atm). Fighting against the Juubi he was able to shape his chakra to match each person he passed it out to, something only the fourth hokage could do and he can do it a much greater extent (copying by zetsu not the same since it only matches, they aren't passing it out, also kurama deserves a lot of credit here). Most everything he does he perseveres in. My prediction is Naruto becomes hokage and (because he's also a main char) Sasuke takes a role similar to danzou's or what madara's would have been.

I don't agree with you, as Itachi said being Hokage is about the respect given by the villagers.
Naruto has the most respect and with Gaara being the Kazakage at a younger age who was in charge of certain aspects of the war which were successful acts as a backup for Naruto shoo-in for Hokage. (Also the fact Minato is coming to battle and later may recommend Naruto.)
