smoker never thought he was invincible , but he did think he was damn strong pre timeskip , since then he has more of a grasp of where he stands

but people like aokiji,akainu,kizaru do not think they are invinvible and respect true strength

enel thought he was invincible because he was unaware of anybody else with power like his , and never met anyone who could even hurt him until luffy came along
