[Question] loggin in

On 09-09 2013, has there been a period of time, where people couldnt log in?
I could log in a few days ago, but I couldnt log in, in the morning today and I could in the evening again.
With the whole hackstuff around the 28 of augus, I got a bit nervous, when I noticed that I couldnt log in today.
So I am trying to check with this thread, for the reason behind it.

Yeah.. Someone tried to overthrow V's rule and take the throne, sadly that person is either in the dungeon or in... the pit of the beast
