I only started watching this series yesterday, but already I'm up to episode 25. It's fairly similar to Sword Art Online's first series, however some things are different. If you like Sword Art Online, it's definitely something you might want to check out.

Also, I gotta agree.. I liked the animation aswell.

Yeah It's an awesome anime, I watched it like a couple weeks ago and I liked it, by the way, the first episode of the second season was released like a day ago, make sure to watch it =)
Though, can someone confirm that log horizon is not manga-based? because when I finished watching the first season, I tried to look for the manga to know what happened later but I found only like 6 chapters that's all.
